I sighed and shook my head at the behavior of my companion, who could not seem to understand that this was a punishment that she rightly and fairly deserved considering her behavior. It was good that it snapped her out of her hallucination and got her to speak english again, however her use of it simply prompted me to say another quick prayer and make the sign of the cross in order to intensify the soap taste that was in her mouth. It was the best I could do right now, normally I would have tried to restrain her and scrub out her mouth myself to discourage further rudeness. However, it seemed that even the soaping of her mouth wasn't enough considering what she said next to the lovely spirit that I had offered cookies to. With a quick triple tap of my right foot, a hard wind would strike Veronika's knuckles. Again, it would have been better if I had time and a ruler to do it myself, or the mind sphere to make it sit better in her head, but I guessed this would have to do for now at least. "You're welcome, and once again I am sorry for my companion's behavior. It does very much seem she was raised by a pack of barn-dwelling wolves given her manners. I will have to rectify that some time soon," I said, sighing and shaking my head as I did so. It was unfortunate that she was like this, but it was obvious she needed parental care. Hopefully she would do something good soon so that I could reward her instead of just punishing her for acting like this towards a spirit.
When the unholy abomination decided to come out of hiding after it had rather obviously made it's presence known after reacting quite...strangely to losing a bit of it's hair I couldn't help but stare utter daggers at the beast. It took the form of a young woman, but I was not deceived. Neither by the demeanor nor the appearance, I knew that aura anywhere. She had the aura of a predator that feasted on the blood of man and had refused the call of the Lord to come and join Him at His side, a filthy undead monstrosity who only deserved the mercy of a swift death and return to the way things ought to be. What bothered me most was that it was the middle of the day yet she managed to be out in the sunlight without bursting into flame. She must be a rare mutant, some sort of day walking vampire to whom the Lord's Light was not a curse. That meant that my main option would have to be the cleansing flame that returned all to the primal weave of reality, which was something of a specialty of mine to say the least. House Flambeau did put a heavy emphasis on the use of firey force to eliminate our enemies.
"As if I would be fooled by your lies, you monstrosity who wears the guise of human flesh. The only things that you hunt are the flocks of the faithful, the humans from which you must gain your sustenance," I said, a fervor in my voice that likely would remind Veronika of what I had done to the technocrats before we had come here. "I had decided to give you leniency and give you time to get your affairs in order before I sent you back to the earth, but since you flagrantly walk under the sun and lie about what you really are, I am very tempted to rescind this offer should you not vanish from my presence right now, you foul, accursed, abomination," I said, giving her an ultimatum as I reached around back to my sword and put the other hand around my Rosary, ready to fight off the abomination should she not flee right now.

Shen qiedao Well, at least Shen felt glad that everyone that had fallen seemed...moderately okay, she didn't know what the blond girl's deal was but she talked funny, which Shen found amusing. The other woman that had giving her that odd feeling also wasn't too bad. She even greeted them politely!
"Oh, well, it's nice to meet you. Name's Shen," she stated with a laugh as she pointed at her sword. "And this is my trusty companion, Sable Sidestick...I call him Sidestick for short."
Unfortunately, the good vibes couldn't laugh as the weirdly dressed woman began talking, only for her speech to become a lot more forceful and...complicated. Shen stepped back as she saw her grab towards her sword, instinctively going to grab her own. "W-wait a minute. I can't understand anything you're saying here!" she exclaimed. Why did she call her an abomination? and what Lord is she talking about?
"If it's because I was eavesdropping then I'm really sorry," she stated with remorse, glancing at the other two. vampire Neutral good | 20 | female

Things just kept happening whether Veronika wanted them to or not and it was becoming a pain in the side with how often she was either worried a new foe was coming out of the woodworks or she would have to see Michela defy some laws of logic to survive things a person was most definitely not meant to survive. Now there was a vampire, if she understood Michela's bloodlusting speech, here that would likely soon be fried to a nice crisp if she didn't leave or if this Amitiel did nothing. Veronika always had the option of doing something too but she had already stopped time once today and that was about most of the effort she felt like putting forth today. Still it would be a shiity thing to let Michela get all violent here and now because she had a fit of 'I can't control how much I like cutting into things'.
Her brain interface accessed her trinary once more to access one of the simpler programs, and while sure it would be a waste of quintessence for something that could be solved by one of these parties just running away Veronika would feel better playing it safe. So with that she altered the universal probabilities surrounding her through the Entropy sphere, granting the vampire some level of increased luck for a limited time while cursing Michela with poor luck for the same time limit. It would last for minutes at best outside of her range but it would be enough that if Veronika did get too antsy and go for the kill then the vamp had better odds.
"sho laik, itsh kinda cooz you're a vampire. Gets? Sthe shitty nun has a boner for murder." The soap was getting so much worse and half of that sentence was spent with her either spitting it out or trying her best to not taste it, "Besht bet is to just scram before she stops being polite, yeah? Or unless Amitiel has anything to say." If not then Veronika had a few interesting vulgar moves she could make to separate the two but she was hesitant to go much farther beyond bending the odds for some stranger to survive against her only ally.

Amitiel I looked to Veronika for a moment, then turned to address Shen. "Amitiel only asks if you have done anything to warrant annihilation."
Oh, the energies around the vampire changed. Something was in her corner. Perhaps it was her patron god. archangel neutral Good | Ageless | Sexless

Shen qiedao "Uh...well," Shen looked at Amitiel for a moment, thinking about what she was saying. The whole situation had turned really weird all of a sudden, but she felt that what she said next would be more crucial than anything.
"Well..." she repeated, thinking a bit about her statement. What even consists of justifying a person being erased? Killing? stealing?...it was too complicated for her to think about on the spot.
Then she thought about other stuff, which in turn led to her face developing a slight blush of embarrassment. "What exactly do you mean by something that warrants annihilation?" she asked with a nervous laugh. vampire Neutral good | 20 | female

Amitiel I stared, not necessarily impassively, but definitely very directly at the girl.
"Would your death repay any strife you may have caused? Has the Darkness Below gripped you so tightly that only the Cleansing Fire can save you?"
I took a bit of my cookie. My mouth was full when I spoke next. "That is what I mean." archangel neutral Good | Ageless | Sexless

As I listened to the abomination not realizing it's sin and Veronika's failed attempt to explain to her exactly what was going on here as she didn't seem to understand what was going on, the face of my blade warped and changed, gaining new patterns and inscriptions to properly channel the magic that I was looking to use here and now. This was one of the least noticeable but most important functions of the blade, it served as a way to quickly and discreetly perform the inscriptions and provide symbols in order to properly use the keys to the universe that I had been given by my Lord. My stare however did not abate as I looked at the woman who tried to pass herself off as innocent despite what she was. Was so utterly dim or uninformed about her condition to not realize what I had been saying to her, the sin was in her existence in and of itself. The fact that she continued to walk this world even after she should have died and fed her false life by preying on the Lord's flock was her sin, it was why she deserved to be annihilated. Annoyance began to creep in on my face as I was rather bothered at this woman's apparent stupidity or her rather convincing acting. Either way, I figured I might as well make it extremely clear what was exactly wrong here, so that both of those options could be blown away here and now. "I have no name to give to a wolf who wears sheep's clothing and walks among the Lord's flock and feasts upon them to sustain itself," I said, glaring at her as the grip on my sword tightened. "Barring the rather crass language on my companion's part, she is absolutely right as to what my reasons are for issuing this ultimatum to you. You are a Vampire, an accursed dead who is a parasite who feeds on mankind to extend it's life beyond the point that it should have ended. You have rejected the embrace of the Lord that comes in death, and have left it to man to force you to return to dust as is the fate of all men. To oppose this is to oppose the word of the Lord who declared this to the disobedient Adam and Eve: in sudore vultus tui vesceris pane donec revertaris in terram de qua sumptus es quia pulvis es et in pulverem reverteris. 1" With a flourish of my blade I drew it and pointed it at her saying, "You neither sustain yourself on the food of humans nor do you return to dust as you must, and as such it is my duty as an agent of the Lord charged with the keeping of his law to correct this." "So I tell you one final time, as an allowance for the obvious fact that you are oblivious of your sin that you leave and get your affairs in order before I return you to the earth where you belong, Vampire. For your kind puts darkness before light, and light for darkness. Et vae qui dicitis malum bonum et bonum malum ponentes tenebras lucem et lucem tenebras ponentes amarum in dulce et dulce in amarum, 2" I said, as I took up a stance and breathed in, ready to smite her. However, the stance and the sword were simply tools. It was a symbol of my readiness to strike down an enemy of my faith, and the swinging of a sword was yet another symbol of judgement, especially when it was a high strike that struck down at them from above. I began to chant under my breath, saying prayers in Latin to add even more to the magick I was preparing to cast, already started through my inscriptions, symbols, and verses that I had added to my rant. If she left, I could stop it easily, but should she decide to not flee, I was ready. {Translation}1. In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread till thou return to the earth, out of which thou wast taken: for dust thou art, and into dust thou shalt return.
2. And Woe to you that call evil good, and good evil: that put darkness for light, and light for darkness: that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter.

Oh jeez it looked like the nun was getting her panties into a big old twist over the vamp than before even. Veronika knew it was serious when someone started spouting out random bits of latin, and Michela was spitting out quite a good bit of it. Still this situation could be fixed if the damned vampire would just walk away or something but she must be some sort of special or maybe just naive, Veronika had bets on her just deserving a darwin award, because this Shen had just stared at them like she understood then started blushing like some kind of loon. Honestly this entire situation was beginning to feel silly and Veronika would love nothing more than to get a move on so the shitty nun could get this soap out of her mouth but it seemed like no one wanted to move and the bum was just standing there eating cookies and being entirely too unhelpful. "So like listen, kid. Real simple stuff here so see if you can keep up. We. Want. You. To. Tell. Us. If. You. Are. Evil." she said slowly and with plenty of enunciation to make sure the girl perfectly understood each word the hacker spoke. It was important she got this very important and if Shen failed to grasp that she needed to tell them that no she was not evil and not her death would not aid anyone then the situation could be resolved, "Don't lie, I can tell. Magic, y'know? Just clarify that 'No, my death would not help anyone' and that 'No, I am not an evil vampire.' Got it?"Yes if she spoke directly like this hopefully the girl would finally understand and just tell them because the other two seemed to be some sort of incapable at basic human interaction which was a real shame when the shitlord was the people-person in the group. Still her senses within the Entropy sphere allowed her to discern truth from fiction, a simple rote Veronika had used a thousand times before and could activate in her sleep. It was a simple spell in which the program activated via her trinary used the brain/interface to shape how she saw reality and allow the hacker to read the underlying metacode of each statement to determine whether it would be false or fact.

Shen qiedao Okay, even she wasn't so dense that she wouldn't be able to understand what they meant now. Especially once the armored nun girl began to speak latin and grab for her sword.
"I mean I've hunted animals for food but no, I've never killed a person before!" she yelled out, holding her hands forward. "I'm a...magic vampire...or whatever, ugh, I don't need to suck blood!" she yelled desperately.
Her eyes glanced between all three of the women around her, now feeling really bad for causing things to get so out of hand. "That's all, I'm not even a natural vampire." vampire Neutral good | 20 | female

Amitiel The vampire woman's answer was immediately assessed.
As far as I knew, it was never in the nature of the Empyreans to look through the soul of another being. No, they simply decided how close to the Darkness you were, and acted accordingly.
It wasn't until I came under Lady Vessa's tutelage that I was taught to be "fairer". I was to judge people based on the merits of their actions and the goodness - or lack of - in their hearts.
She taught me to do so, and I was able to apply that.
Nothing would change outwardly, but within myself, I was looking at this girl from another dimension altogether. It wasn't perfect, but it gave me a gist.
Her energies were stable. I lifted my hand, signalling to the other two women interrogating her. "Her heart is good, and her disposition docile. She is no threat."
I didn't realize how that could have been an incomplete assessment, but purity was something I was easily able to sense. "She is protected from destruction until further notice. Please stand down, Ms. Michela." archangel neutral Good | Ageless | Sexless

I couldn't help but sigh at this entire situation, why were they trying to stop me from slaying this enemy of Man? It mattered not whether she had good intentions, she was a parasite on the human species. Eventually she would become like all vampires, her age and thirst changing her. The Tremere could just get Vitae without having to suck it from their veins either with a bit of their blood magic, so that didn't change anything for me when she said it. Nor did it mean anything when she said that she had never killed anyone. Of course she hadn't, most vampires preferred to keep them alive for a constant source of blood instead of draining them dry, after all. They served as useful servants as well, after all, the ones from where I was from could addict humans to the act of having their blood sucked. "It matters not to me, Vampire. Whether or not you feel you are righteous or whether you have killed humans yet means nothing, the fact that you are a member of the walking dead who defy God's will for you to die makes you an enemy. Consider it a mercy to kill you while you are still somewhat human, it prevents you from becoming a callous monster under the weight of your years and the power you will accrue from your condition," I said, practically spitting out the words. Being in her presence and not attacking her, and instead talking to her, made me feel soiled. I would need to find a place to bathe and purify myself after this.
I could only give a hateful glare to the spirit who had just decided to get in the way of my purging of this unclean vampire, using my magick with a thought to unweave the cookies I had given her earlier, rendering them back into the quintessence that I had made them from. I had no succor to give to the enemies of the Creed or those who abetted them. I would need to instruct Veronika about this a bit more later considering she was seemingly trying to get me to stand down by trying to convince me the vampire wasn't evil, going by what she was trying to do. Such was not even a concern in my book, her morality or personality were not what mattered in this instance. What mattered is that she was an accursed, unclean undead who needed to be returned to the earth from which she came. "Well then, it seems that I must decline that earlier off of yours, spirit. My partner and I shall be on our way now, since I do not find it wise to punch above my weight to this degree," I said, obvious disdain in my voice as I looped an arm around Veronika and concentrated for a moment to find a nearby town and view it, before slicing the air with my blade to rend open a portal large enough for me to carry her through. "Farewell, and let our paths never cross again," I said, before taking my compatriot and stepping through the portal which closed immediately behind us. I would simply need to wait a bit and then use the hair I had obtained to enact justice from a distance after that spirit had left that accursed vampire alone.

Michela was looking extra angry right about now and the other two weren't looking so happy either and quite honestly Veronika wasn't really up to having to dunk on two random people even if one of them happened to be a vampire. Still it was kind of petty for Michela to just unweave the bum's cookies even if she did deserve it, "Oh cool I guess no more mental trauma for me today, I haven't even cried any of it out yet." Veronika would have also been very much happy with walking on her own but apparently Michela decided she was not capable of it today and so she received a very bland stare as she yoinked Veronika off of the ground.
It seemed as if negotiations were breaking down rather quickly and that Michela was feeling particularly petty at being denied her chance to slay another of the impure and heretical abominations! Not that Veronika cared too much about killing vampires, though she understood why a mage should kill one on sight, she was more concerned with their strange new surroundings than slaying what could very well be a new type of vampire that was not an evil bastard. Oh well at least it looked like Michela wasn't planning on leaving her to the tender mercies of these strangers and had remembered to hoist her up like some sort of doll as they escaped, "Seeya." she saluted off to the two while being carried through the portal, making sure to spit a glob of soapy drool at the bum for extra measure. You could never let those people get too cocky for their own good after all.

Shen qiedao Shen pouted a bit when she saw both Michela and Veronika leave. Well, she was glad that she hadn't gotten herself killed, but now she felt guilty because her involvement seemed to have made things scalate a lot more than they should've.
She turned towards the remaining woman, expecting her to leave as well. "Uh...I'm sorry about that," she stated awkwardly as she scratched the back of her head.
"Yes, she can be quite the dunce," Sidestick spoke from Shen's waist, the sword vibrating slightly.
"Now you talk!" Shen yelled out as she glanced at the sword. "You know that could've saved us a lot of trouble like a minute ago right?"
"I wanted to see where things would go...sue me," Sidestick replied dismissively. vampire Neutral good | 20 | female
