! | So this entire thread's premise is based around shenanigans in what's basically the collective unconscious. If you have any characters that are able to psychically interact from Necropolis or other areas, feel free to join in! They don't even need a good reason to be there, haha. NOTE: There aren't any physical interactions here. Psychic attacks are okay with permission, but nothing is tangible. |
Dreamitiel
Astral projection.
It was an art that, in retrospect, Amitiel wasn't sure why they hadn't known others could have. The overall concept seemed simple - you sent your consciousness to a remote location. It wasn't simply something Empyreans could uniquely pull off.
To a human or non-magical being, something would seem almost like fiction. For a creature used to peering into the planes of other beings, Amitiel was quite used to it.
Today, Amitiel had a very important quest undertaken by themselves.
Travel beyond the borders of Necropolis in psychic form, and peer into its ranks as a form of spying.
When they materialized above the 'sky' of the immaterial realm, what they found was everything that Rael did not prepare them for.
Darkness of untold amounts, filling every brink, nook, and cranny.
Compared to those beings, Amitiel themselves had manifested as an entity of light that stood out among what seemed to stand out among all things there.
Yet, Amitiel could turn to the west and see other demiplanes within Necropolis. Hell dimensions, chaos realms, and planes of pure darkness all filled their vision.
It was scary, being in this state of psychic quasi-existence above the thing that was diametrically created to destroy you.
And still, they couldn't help but feel as though something was... watching them.
