Down in some forests on the somewhat far reaches from Sanctuary, there was a Kitsune names Choushin taking a walk along a long forgotten forest trail. He currently was in his human form that had white skin, white hair, white fur for his ears and tail, and black tips on his tails. He wasn't bothering to hide his 5 tails right now since he knew no one ever came to this part of the forest. In his pocket was his star ball from someone he made a fun example out of, as well as housed his powers. Without it, his powers were severely limited, though that doesn't mean he's useless when he loses it. He was whistling to himself as he walked down the road. If someone did come along, well he could always try to have some fun with them, either by choice or force on their part.

Eokian forests were often chock full of magical and elusive beasts, both feral and sentient varieties. It might feel like no one came this way, but maybe that was just because few ever used the trails, and the feral variants were far more common in these parts than the sentient ones. Despite the quiet, anyone with sensitive enough ears or nose could pick up the minor rustlings and scent trails made by the little creatures brave enough to be out scavenging for food. If one could hear those, it would not be difficult to pick up a louder sound ahead, someone who wasn't trying to be quiet.
A heavy pony-sized blue dragon sat in an alcove along the trail. She was of stocky, build, with large wings folded tight against her back so that she could keep them from getting tangled in the overgrown parts of the wood. she was partially feathered, with the thickest deep navy blue feathering along her back, but otherwise largely covered with distinct scales eventually reaching sky-blue and ice-blue shades. Her attention was on a large scrape firmly etched into her hand-like forepaw, It wasn't deep, but it was certainly fresh enough to not be something easy to walk on. Her tongue and beak were set to the task of picking out debris which had ended up in the wound. Best to clean the thing before she took any other action.

Choushin did soon hear the sounds ahead of him. Wondering what it was, he began to get closer, but not before he tried to hide his tails in his clothes. How well that worked had yet to be seen, but he didn't know what the sounds were. They didn't sound like the normal wildlife here. The closer he got to the sounds, the quieter and more sneaky he got as to not to be heard over their own sounds.
Once he did get close enough, he saw some blue scales and feathers. Based on what he saw, he guessed that it was either a Griffon or a Dragon. Still trying to be sneaky, he got even closer to them to observe them and see what they were doing. He didn't quite see them dealing with the scrape on their paw, but he was ready to either run or fight if they proved violent to him.

Sanctuary was noisy, boring and dangerous. It was not the sort of place that the quiet fox enjoyed lurking. While she did not mind a bit of action and fun once in a good while, should the opportunity arise, she had come to enjoy peace when she could find it. Fighting was becoming something that she deemed overrated and unnecessary. If there was no point, why do it? It was annoying to grow battered and bruised when there was no gain, even if it was a little fun.
Had she finally grown enough to understand some common sense? She had not the faintest idea, nor did she care. However, her sleep in the shade of a large elm tree was disturbed as the shade moved away, and a new, unfamiliar scent stirred her slumber. Rising to dark paws, the obsidian-furred fox began to walk in the direction of the new scents. Curiosity killed the cat, but it could never catch the fox. One scent in particular stood out to Yukirin-- the sign of a fellow of the same species. The other one was foreign, likely a mythical creature she had yet to discover.
At the very least, age had nothing to do with growing bored and longing for peace. There was always something new.
The kitsune walked towards the forest trail, now picking up mild traces of blood too. Approaching the vicinity of the two she had yet to find, Yukirin narrowed her sulfur yellow eyes at the larger, blue-feathered and scaled creature. However, the other canine nearby proved to be slightly more interesting. He appeared to be a man, though smelled like her- a fox. More than likely, he was holding a decent disguise, and was hiding his tails underneath human garments. However, his ears appeared to remain as prominent as ever. "A kitsune... and what exactly would you be?" she observed aloud, speaking to the white fox and the blue mythical.
Yukirin herself held the shape of a humble silver fox, with sleek, black fur with a bright silver tint to her overcoat, and a snowy-white tail tip. She only displayed one tail, and did not give off any reason for one to think of her as supernatural or magical, with the exception of her ability to speak with those in the vicinity.

Salia moved to a posture of alertness hiding the damaged paw beneath her other foreleg and raising her feather crested head. Slender slightly spiraled Golden horns shimmered in the light as she moved, as did patches of similar colored plating under her eyes and beaked nose. She was clearly a quadrupedal dragon variety. She did not sense danger from either stranger. One was humanoid, and one an actual fox if she was seeing things right. She raised her eyes slightly when asked what she was, surprised that it wasn't obvious. She fit the mold of a classic western dragon far more easily than did her friends brush or Keitashi. She raised her good paw to slightly readjust the small glasses resting on the bridge of her nose. She could curse her nearsighedness sometimes. "You've seriously never seen a dragon before?) she asked showcasing her disbelief further. Her voice as deep, but still in the female register, and her tone indicated she was on the younger side, perhaps a teenager or young adult in dragon time.

Choushin did notice that there soon was another fox in the area. She seemed to have noticed him, so he looked to the other fox first and walked over. "Oh boy! Another fox or Kitsune! Hi! Do you want to play with me?" He asked her, his ears perked up with excitement as he bent down to get a better look at the fox. He could sense something about her, but didn't mention it.
When the dragon spoke up, he turned to her and shook his head. "I'm a good boy! I knew that you were either a Griffon or Dragon based on the scales and feathers of yous. Do you want to play a game too?" He asked with the same tone that he used on the fox. His hope was that they would want to play a game with him.

Salia laughed. A gryphon seriously? She'd seen a few gryphons. There was a messanger clan of them that lived somewhere on the continent, but they surely were nothing like her. The comparison seemed so unlikely she found it funny. "I have somewhere to go, but I'll hear out your idea." The chubby dragon decided, knowing that she ought to give herself a break due to the scrape on her paw. She brought it out again, freezing a layer of ife over the wound just in case she needed to be active.

Choushin grinned and pulled his tails out, since they were starting to hurt from being hidden. "The game is called Friendship. You play the game by seeing how short of time it takes you to make new friends!" He said, hoping that they would let him start the game first.

Yukirin shook her dark-furred head in response to the dragon. "I have seen dragons before. Not one like you, though," she formally responded, before her attention was averted to the white-haired kitsune.
Another fox or Kitsune? Well, the two words meant the same thing. Was he referring to her being an ayakashi, like him? Yukirin was not quick to trust, as when it came to other yokai, they were always eager to trick. At his request to 'play', her suspicions were increased. Just what could he be planning? He made the same offer to the dragon as well, she noted. Hopefully, he just was a young, harmless kitsune with no ill intent. She could never be too careful when dealing with her own kind.
The dragon agreed to hear him out, and Yukirin decided to listen to his proposition. The first thing she observed, however, was the five tails he had hidden at first. Not just one, but many... so, he was indeed a powerful fox, possibly well on his way to becoming a kyuubi, she would guess. The game he proposed was an odd one, again instilling suspicion within the dark-furred canine. "Friendship? An odd game, I must say. One rarely makes 'friends' overnight, after all. How do you suggest we play that game, in such a short amount of time?" she inquired, sitting down and not moving her curious yellow orbs from the white fox.

Choushin grinned widely and nodded his head. "Of course! You play the game by talking to others, see if they interest you, try to trick them into befriending you, and hanging out with them! The downside is that this game can take a long while, but if I find either of you really interesting, you bet I'll be back like a begging dog to learn more about you!" He said, his tails wagging like how a dogs would when they were very happy.

Salia shifted, maybe slightly uncomfortable by the prospects of making friends as a game. "I rather make friends the natural way and not force it." she stated. "and definitely not trick people for it." she could make friends she figured, but the way the fox was wording it, seemed almost creepy.

Choushin laughed. "I see a lot of things as games! It makes life more fun. That doesn't mean I don't take things seriously, but seeing things as fun makes life worth living a whole lot more!" He said.

The dragon stood up favoring slightly the ice slicked paw. she looked down at the five tailed kitsune, through the spectacles perched on her nose for a moment before making her decision. She wasn't interested, not in his game, or his philosophy. Salia could still like games but his approach, rather than enticing her, brought her to the decision that it was better to move on. She turned carefully, glancing up at the sky to see if there was a spot where she could fly out through the thick tree cover. Not yet. Therefore she began walking again down the path, not quickly, but steadily. She knew it was a bit rude to just turn to leave, but she found the fox's approach overbearing and even creepy, leading her to determine that this wasn't a good group to entertain.

"It seems unwise to take concepts, such as friendship, for granted by downgrading them to the status of a 'game'," the silver fox commented, agreeing with the bright blue dragon, who seemed to be making her way away from the rather eccentric white fox. "Fun can come in forms outside of games, after all. Your proposition isn't exactly my idea of 'fun'."
Yukirin stood back up, gazing curiously and stone-faced at the other fox. Her words were blunt, and her expression conveyed that she was not exactly amused by the situation.

Meigyu Meanwhile, in the same forest, about five yards away from the spot where the three had met, hidden in a very small clearing, sat what looked to be a slightly pale skinned, humanoid-looking young woman, appearing to be only about twenty-one, with her eyes closed. She had short/medium-length black hair, that went at least an inch below her ears. She wore not only a black, sleeveless shirt, but short black shorts, and velcro tenneshoes as well. Some, at first glance, might wonder why this girl chose to dress that way. However, judging from the black horn stubs on her head, and the vertical, closed eyelid that was on her forehead, one might judge that this was definitely no ordinary girl...
Indeed, she was a bit more than that. She wasn't born among ordinary humans, and hadn't been born on the physical plane either. Indeed, she actually had something in common with the two foxes. She wasn't a fox, but, to humans and most others, she basically fell into the same general manner of creature, although, she definitely considered herself and her particular species as being much different from the majority of other Yokai.
She had actually come to this forest for a bit of meditation and magic practice and training, whenever she felt she could use it. After all, not many sentients were usually there. But, then, as she heard a female voice-One that had used the word 'Kitsune-she got curious. Luckily, not only did being in her meditative state make her difficult to sense, it also allowed her to broaden her senses a bit. And, boy, was she grateful for that: Two Kitsune, one dragon. One of them-One of the kitsune, she believed-wanted to play a game, one that seemed to have to do with making friends as quickly as possible, while the other two didn't seem interested.
Well, this certainly piqued her interest. As soon as the dragon confirmed that she more or less didn't want to play, the girl would open up her main two amber eyes, smirking. Oh, yes, she would definitely have some fun here. As she concentrated, her closed forehead eyelid started to magical merge back with her forehead, before quickly appearing as she just had a normal forehead, the horns disappearing as soon as the eyelid did. Hopefully, this would make it quite a bit difficult for either kitsune to notice even a trace of her cow scent.
She stood up, then proceeded back onto a path, one not in immediate view of the kitsune or dragon, putting on an expression that would make it look as if the girl was not only just a curious human, but a lost one as well. As she got close enough to where the two kitsune were, she 'accidentally' tripped, falling close to where the two kitsune were. "Oooffff! Ohhhhhh..." She started groaning. "Stupid, stupid Mei, letting yourself get lost in a forest like this, what could you have been possibly thinking?!" She then seemingly just noticed the kitsune there, blinking her eyes in supposed confusion. "Oh! Ummmmm, H-hello..."
