the water had stilled to the point where it seemed smooth as glass, and yet Tsuki had still not come up. This indicated that at least some qualities of the water were illusion, as did the fact that choushin's reflection displayed. a different emotion than the one the kistune was actually showing.

Choushin smiled. "I guess this means it's safe." He said, taking a dive into the water. As he did, he changed himself to look the same, but as a female.

The feeling of being upside down with gravity pulling towards the sky would be strong for a moment as Choushin entered the mirror world. Large rough hands grabbed for the fox to pull him out of the water into a tight embrace. The stocky giant grinned goofily at what he saw, showing rows of cracked and missing teeth. Its hoarse boyish chuckle was both hideous and mischievous.

Choushin didn't have much to react to the hands grabbing him. From the shock alone from it, he changed against his will into his normal kitsune form, which would stand taller than the average human, around 8 feet tall. Choushin didn't know what this was, so he was trying to break free from the grasp, from trying to claw and bite at the hands.

Well the giant was certainly taller than 8 feet, closer to 15. Having it's pretty prey turn into a giant squirming fox was not a pleasant surprise. It's grip lessened, and eventually it let choushin go.

Choushin landed on the ground as he coated himself in his own fire, aiming to have it have powers to make it so others wouldn't touch him so he wouldn't feel like that again.

Fire was a natural thing to fear for many beasts. Even if it didn't look like it was burning choushin, it looked hot enough to make the giant have second thoughts about touching him. Vaguely concerned that the fire was burning the fox, the simple minded creatire, cupped water in his large hands and threw it at choushin in an attempt to get rid of the flames.

The fire would not go away when Choushin got splashed. It stayed there, and all it did was make Choushin wet. He responded to this by throwing his fire at the beast, aiming to make it feel extremely sleepy.

It didn't get sleepy. instead it treated the fire like actual fire, something terribly hot to be avoided. it roared and cowered out of the way, before deciding it was better off elsewhere, and lumbering off.

Choushin shook himself off when he saw the giant run off. At least now he was free to either walk around here a bit or try to go back into reality.

It looked like reality. The level of detail here was incredibly precise. The wind carried scents of water and grass and trees, and even civilization off somewhere out of sight but within reach. There was plenty to be curious about and investigate. Yet where had Tsuki gone off to? He had not been seen since he fell into the water. The table and chairs and even the candle from before lay in a washed up jumble on the water's shore.

Choushin sighed. "This feels like the real world, and yet I know I'm not..." He said, having underestimated the other's powers. He simply walked around the body of water, not wanting to move too far from it.

After listening enough, someone could be heard off by the water, but it was rather distant, far enough that the view was obscured by trees that guarded part of the water's edge, but not in this spot. It was female, singing, quite a delicate sound, almost eerie thanks to the style of the melody.

Choushin did hear the singing, and he did find it good, but he wasn't going to leave the pond to go look. For all he knew, if something made him lost from here, he would have no way to return.

Tsuki was growing bored with Choushin's lack of investigative drive. Was he seriously just going to wait when any choice to explore or interact with the environment might have lead to stellar results? Even though the Landscape was Tsuki's work he'd left it open for Choushin to manipulate as well should choushin be willing to alter things. What did Choushin want at this moment? Tsuki was curious enough to wonder, but gracious enough to not try and tease out those thoughts. He hoped the Kitsune would take a choice that turned into action soon, regardless of the goal.
where was Tsuki in all this anyhow? not somewhere where he'd be visible that was for certain, but he'd never been far away. He had no intention to do anything to reveal himself unless Choushin really became boring, or Choushin began to engage. Tsuki saw it almost as a waiting game for the moment.
