Kenessa I nodded. "Right, right, you're right..."
My eyes drifted to the fanned blade at my neck, then back to the striking eyes of the... uh... space ninja.
"Guess you're here to stop us from doing... whatever?"
I nodded again. I was about to do something reckless. But, our lives were at stake. The money was at stake.
Fuck that, this bitch wasn't gonna spook me out of something like this.
So, my true rebuttal to her assessment was quick-drawing my gun. Even if I wasn't a martial arts guru, my reflexes were nothing to scoff at.
Bang! I took a shot, and didn't even attempt to see what the result was. Instead, I grabbed Patchy's wrist and we were gone in that next instant.
In the time we were exploring, I had a good look over some the area, and I got us out of that particular room. We were still in the open, but we were no longer in front of the woman.
"Ok! So... that was... unexpected..." I turned to her. "Sorry hun. Didn't think anybody else knew this place existed..." Planeswalking human True Neutral | 31 | Female

The poor cat watched the situation with helpless awe; on one hand, she was terrified...on the other, she couldn't help but find the space warrior somewhat intriguing. In the brief moment she had to study the woman in front of the two of them, she saw someone as terrifying as they were beautiful--the sound of the gun boomed in the large chamber, deafening her ears with the ringing as Nessie pulled her away. The gaze of those pale orange eyes lingered just a moment longer than the planeswalker's, and she saw the woman vanish into thin air.
"Sorry hun..."
The words seemed distant and far off, even though the one speaking them was right in front of her. After that, the ringing drowned out everything else that the planeswalker had said at that moment--whether they were words of re-assurance or simply shrugging off the situation didn't particularly matter in that instant. Her hands shook, and her powers started to act up as her fear manifested into terror--Kenessa would literally be able to feel it rolling off of the cat, while a simple and helpless telepathic message rang in the ears of her thoughts: Please take me home...
