The only way to describe the amount of time that seemed to pass in the space that we were sucked into was an eternal instant. That might seem like a bit of a contradiction, but when one practices True Magick the border between the possible and impossible falls away quite quickly. I felt like I experienced the eternity of time in a single second, and in that time I saw things beyond the realms of reality and only comprehended but a little. Some of it I already knew, conveying understanding of the fundamental spheres of reality. Some of it was things I was on the border of grasping, giving me the urge to search further understanding and Arete. However, there was a brief moment of enlightenment that gave me actual learning, the space I traveled through itself gave em the final piece of the puzzle I needed to advance to the edge of what I could currently command when it came to the Sphere of Correspondence. Not that such a thing would do me any good in this eternal instant, but it was something that occurred to me. After the instant passed, however, I found myself feeling the forces of gravity once again, a very comforting feeling considering the absolute lack of forces acting on me before.
However, that relief was relatively short lived as I recognized that the land underneath me seemed to be rushing up quickly. This would not be a pretty landing, that much was for sure. While I might have endured it normally due to the enhanced body that I still had before I leapt through, which I had maintained through force of will on the effect so that I could keep Veronika protected, I was sure that it would end pretty painfully for me, and potentially lethally for Veronika if I didn't realign my fall and cushion her landing. I quickly moved so that my back was facing the ground instead of my front, attached to which was the orb of truegold flesh that Veronika was currently residing in. With a quick prayer I altered the properties of the air inside of it to make sure that it would act as a cushion. That was when my first two discoveries occurred. The first was that this place was akin to Primal Reality, it accepted my magic like it was coincidental despite the normal vulgarity that something like that probably normally would have been. The second was the fact that paradox would be less of an issue here because of that, and that was something nice to know despite not knowing exactly where we were.
With the very small amount of time that I had left, I forced the rest of my remaining quintessence into a regeneration spell that would help put my body back together after the impact because if my idea for the speed I was going and the ground was correct...well it would be rather unpleasant to say the least. And that was confirmed when pain split through my body and I practically exploded from the impact, my body soaking up all the force of the impact while the spell I had cast before helped cushion the fall and throw her away from my body upon impact, my truegold flesh splitting and throwing her out so that she could land on the ground relatively safely, perhaps being a little bit bruised but very much not dead. My body did not fair nearly as well, and I was pretty much a bony, fleshy splat on the ground as the truegold enchantment fell away and my body began to imperceptibly draw the pieces together, blood running somewhat in reverse. It would take a bit to recover from this, even with magic, that much was for sure.

She had been protected from the cracks in reality that had swallowed the two of them whole, her world becoming darkness for a single instant stretched across the entirety of a timeline or so it felt. She knew it had to be Michela who had protected her with how the other woman was the only one she knew who could produce such powerful defenses, and wondered just what sort of cocoon she was in, it was cool yet hot to the touch at her back and in front of her was oddly lumped twisting. She never brought together a program to light the cocoon she was in as the two were thrown back into reality or she would assume so as the infinite vacuum suddenly became filled with force as she was pressed against the cocoon, feeling the air shift within it as if to cushion Veronika from the blow.
The crash back into earth was surprisingly less pleasant than the ride to get there as Veronika was thrown from Michela's protective shell and blacked out for a moment as she went tumbling away, ever thankful for the nun's forward-thinking to provide a cushion. Dazed, traumatised and tired beyond years that yet to belong to her left the hacker with little energy to do anything other than lay face-down in the grass and listen to the slow crawl of what could only be Michela making another miraculous survival and reforming from behind a splat on the soil, a quick horrifying looked confirmed this and set a shudder through Veronika. With an effort of will that felt magnitudes greater than it was she pushed to her knees and gazed at the sky for a moment, ignoring the shrill alarm coming from her trinary smartphone for just a moment.
Veronika could stomach another look to confirm Michela was truly not dead and the clumps of meat pulling themselves to the prone body was enough for her. Something was wrong though or else the constant piercing shriek of the phone would be silent and a quick look confirmed that something certainly was mightily wrong. The local data was a mess compared to what Veronika was accustomed too and she had access to none of the systems that should have been nearly omnipresent. It was fully possible the two had landed in some remote location sure but even then she could access one or two distant satellites. As it was now she was reading code that was unfamiliar yet contained a familiar logic which she would need to refigure programs to for her data to work properly.
"В каламутній воді легко рибу ловити." came the muttered proverb as she stuffed the phone into a pocket and simply elected to finish the connections with her brain interface in the background to better focus on the issue at hand. The things that had occurred moments ago itched against the back of her skull and wished to bring her a quick ruin, Michela was something terrible was the first issue that had to be faced. Veronika knew not how to handle that nor what she should do but for the moment it was best to leave that beast to prowl in the grass until she knew more. There was also the concern of just where they were and how the two were to find their way back home, "Times like these make me want to pray." she said to the nun, or at least her pieces. Anything to keep the growing hyperventilation down and from breaking into a short panic attack as the calmer things became the longer she had to process it all.

After a few minutes, I managed to bring enough of my body together that I could move around and interact and see the world. Though I was still laying on the ground mostly because of the absolutely paralyzing amount of pain that I was in. It was to the point where I had reached a sort of zen state and did not even move, it had happened so many times before that it wasn't even surprising. Now that I could do that though, I decided it was probably for the best to use this moment to make my brain insensate to the pain before it reached the point that I would actually be able to react to it. With a line of uttered prayer of exactly seven words, I could feel it all drop away, and I managed to bring myself to my feet. My clothes had been left tattered, and while my decency was still intact, my armor and my modesty definitely werent. Not a long sleeve or dress in sight, and that had to be immediately rectified. With another strangely coincidental piece of magic I reformed my clothing from the scraps that had been around and was immensely grateful that it would hold together. I did this even before my body was being patched up, so the regeneration switched from putting it back together to regrowing, which was much easier.
"Times like this are what prayer is for, Veronika," I said, giving her a smile from a finally fully reformed face. I had heard her say that while I was still out of commission, and I figured I ought to let her know what I thought about it. "Well, there is some rather interesting news. This place treats all of my magic as being coincidental, no matter how Vulgar it normally would be. I am unsure if it is the same way for you though, so I would be careful as you are not as immune to permanent damage as I tend to be," I said, giving her a bit of a smile as I did so. Hopefully she would be fine now, and I reached over to lay my hands on her and again said a quick prayer to soothe and heal her injuries, "There you go, all nice and healed up. Now, do you have any clue where we might be? I am rather curious where that effect spit us out, especially since it is about as permissive of our magic as the space outside the True Horizon is, or at least a realm that treats Hermetic Magic as being coincidental." If this was a place that I could bring others and travel back and forth from, it could serve as a rather powerful home base for the mages of the Traditions. Truly primal places that permitted all magic were highly rare in our day and age, and a place that was like that and seemed to be as stable as this place seemed at first glance were truly rare.

Just as usual for her degree of strangeness Michela had pieced together her clothing and completely healed from being a lump of pulped meat already. It was almost as intimidating as collapsing a black hole onto itself. Maybe moreso that the nun had not only been able to endure it to a degree but come out the other side without looking much too worse for wear. Veronika's bruised back and aching everything were soothed away with a quick prayer and allowed for the hacker to focus on more important things, namely finding more information on their surroundings and where they could go. That and staunchly ignoring the cancerous growth she could almost feel growing as she suppressed herself more and more. It was only a slight hiccup that escaped and a shuddering breath before she could properly analyze the data.
"I-uh, I'm not too sure really. There's some form of satellite reaching us, or several dozens I can spot with even a small scan but they reach feels a bit weaker than I'm used to." she scratched underneath her chin and let the thought roll about in her mind a bit before continuing, "Rural but not the middle of nowhere, but it's like someone too every radio wave I was used to scanning and switched them all around. It's taking me a bit to figure out what's sending what to what. Not only that but the ones my trinary should be accessing automatically are just gone. Fuck me I don't know."
Veronika took her phone out once more and began to manually move through the different screens that were minimized or pushed to the sides almost automatically as another screen came up, green lines drawing out borders of a general landmass before dividing it into two smaller pieces to denote separate territories, "Looks a bit like Japan? Except Japan isn't cut into two states. Bit of a general map I grabbed but until I'm done figuring out what's going where I can't really figure out our location. On the bright side if you're right about the magic bit it'll be a lot easier to get around."

I thought about what she had said and had no clue either, rather stumped about what she was saying. I was no expert in the Spiritual Realms, but this did not seem like any I had heard of, that much was for sure. This meant we were either some place that was extremely secret, which would be decidedly bad for us more than likely, or we were in utterly uncharted territory that was far past the True Horizon, which would explain what is going on with our magic. Either way, I wasn't entirely sure that I liked what was going on completely, and decided that I definitely ought to be on guard at all times. As such, I decided that it was probably for the best to pull in as much quintessence as I could. "I would be on your guard just in case this place is less friendly than it seems. Where exactly are we on that map you have there? We do seem to be in the middle of nowhere at least, considering there is not a sign of civilization around," I said, looking around the rather remote field that we were in. There were forests and trees around but nothing really popped out as a bit of human civilization. Perhaps we were in a forest preserve, or perhaps we were out in the middle of nowhere. It was hard to tell either way. I just hoped that there were no werewolves running around, they were the reason most normal people avoided the countryside, especially in more primal areas.
Sighing and shaking my head I returned to what I had planned to do and informed her of it, "I assume you have a Periapt or a Soulgem on you? If not, I recommend making one now and filling it with Quintessence or whatever you choose to call it. It would be quite useful just in case we get attacked, having extra quintessence is always useful to make spells easier or to make our magic even more lethal. Give me a few minutes, I'm going to make us quite a large amount of tass and fill up on quintessence." With that said, I started to set about a ritual to charge both myself and my soulgem. The first part of this ritual was to create a rather large block of gold from the local ground and plant matter. Normally this would be a rather annoying process, but it has been simplified by the fact that this land was very friendly to my magick. I marked the boundaries of the square that I was looking to transmute with four knives, one at each corner to mark the earth that I wanted to transmute. With a minute or so of concentration and a prayer repeated three times, I turned the land into gold.
However, this was not the main effect that I wish wishing for, and there were further steps that I had to take. With another effect that was far easier, I lifted the large gold block and split it into a number of pieces, all of which fell back into the hole that was still itself lined with gold, forming a cauldron of sorts for what I was going to do next. With an extension of my will, my sword's blade bent and changed, turning into a number of tendrils, each stabbing into a different block of gold. Now came the most difficult part of the ritual that I was trying to do. I put my mind to the ritual at hand and chanted a seven verse prayer of seven words per verse seven times, a tri-perfect incantation. Seven by Seven by Seven. With that prayer said, I sealed the act with a blood sacrifice into the sword, running my hand down it's blade and letting it drink in the blood. With that done, the ritual kicked into full gear, the sword drinking the physical form from the gold, turning the solid into a form of tass that I liked to call Quickgold. It was a lot like mercury, but it reflected the golden light of the Lord rather than the pale silver that it normally did. I absorbed quite a good chunk of it, leaving about half left after it burned off and filled my Soulgem and Pattern with quintessence. All in all, the ritual took about thirty minutes, but it was a powerful one indeed.
"Feel free to use it, Veronika. I am full up on Quintessence, this is suffused with Quintessence, far more than the land we had come from. It is amazing what kind of difference this place makes," I said, nodding as my sword and veins returned to their normal colors after the Quickgold faded and turned completely into pure essence inside both of them.

Right, tass or Quintessence made physical and capable of being used to refill little charms or such things. She remembered having once thought on the concept of such things before dismissing them out of hand as unneeded for her then and there or just being worthless in the long run. Things like Soulgems and Soulflowers were a good bit out of her grip and a periapt would only carry extra juice but seeing as she rarely used it to begin with it felt unnecessary. Veronika was kicking herself for the little bit of lacking wisdom but the situation was fixed easily enough, creating a Periapt was just filling a device with Quintessence and being able to reuse it later. So she pulled the headphones from around her neck and laid them on the ground as she moved her current programs to the background and spent the half hour Michela had spent performing the ritual to write a proper program to infuse them with quintessence.
"Gross, it looks like I'm all good to go with the ground relays. If I had to say we're on the southernmost portion of this landmass, maybe a good hours walk from any town. If I'm reading the map right at least." she commented with a slight sneer at her phone as she pulled it out once more to check on if it had found their location or not.
Well it would never be the most impressive thing to exist and certainly paled in comparison to the sword Michela waved around, her headphones would work plenty enough as a Periapt and allow her to draw on their extra Quintessence with but a thought. Now all she had to do was refill on the quintessence she had pushed into her new periapt which seemed to be by taking it from a pool of golden mercury, "Wally says no to drugs but I think I need some after that." she said out loud while scooping up a good bit between her cupped hands and downing it all in one go. There was something to be said for the situation that downing a strange solid liquid made from pure creation was not the strangest thing she had done this day.
The tass went down smoothly all things said and done, much like drinking a warm and partially melted milkshake without the amazing vanilla taste or the cooling refreshness. Rather it seemed to suffuse her pattern and body rather quickly as she could feel her Quintessence refill with the exposure but it was a short-lived feeling of elation as she tried to stand only to lose her balance and end up kneeling in the grass, staring dumbly as the world twisted for a moment then snapped back together. A dog sat to her left, quiet and strangely familiar with a judging look in it's eyes. "Where did the dog come from?" she asked to Michela, looking back to the nun and seeing a trail of blood leaking from her nostril and a strangely high-pitched voice babbling from somewhere in the other's vicinity. "Oh, I must be dieing. How nice."

Amitiel I was told that I needed to be more sociable. According to Vessa, my interpersonal skills were... lacking, at best. She surmised that, due to my isolation from mortal life for many ages, I had become completely dysfunctional in the ways of communicating with them.
Harsh, but very fair. Vessa never led me astray. It was why I called her my Goddess.
My attempts at talking with the people of Sonlas had been met with middling success. They assumed I was some divine messenger come to bring salvation or destruction, depending on how I showed myself. Really, I just wanted to see them and learn the, um... hip lingo? Yes. That.
That earned a few laughs. And some derision. And a holy place offering me goods. Baked goods, to be precise. I was happy about that.
Today, I decided it best to move around the countryside, exploring everything it had to offer. It wasn't a very large nation, no, but it was interesting. Eokia as a whole was a massive land, and I had cased much of it in my travels through the Astral Planes, but I still found things that surprised me.
This was the case when I sensed foreign energies in the area. No, it should not have been strange that interlopers made their way to this Plane - I was one of them, after all. But, it was strange in that they were distinctly mortal, at least in relativity. I'd never heard of ephemeral beings that could jump through dimensions; I was under the assumption that was beyond them.
I wanted to be subtle and greet the two, and speak to them.
And, that obviously meant that I would appear in a flash of light, with a chorus of sound accompanying me. That wasn't my fault; it was a consequence of my being.
The form I took was that of a young woman, and I decided to break the ice with a very smooth and practiced line.
"Cookies are good, don't you agree?"
Yes. This was a great start. Amitiel is a master of socialization, Lady Vessatali. archangel neutral Good | Ageless | Sexless

I nodded to her as she said that and thought about using a bit of magic that combined Matter and Correspondence to scry for the nearest settlement so that we could head over there, but I figured I should probably wait to see if she had any further information that she could get or answer whatever questions that she wanted to ask once she finished filling up on quintessence from the Tass I had created. As such, I just went about calculating some of the numerology that I needed to do for a project that I had been working on but needed to advance my understanding of Correspondence to move forward on. However, that was rather quickly interrupted when I heard the thump from her falling over. I hadn't really gotten what she had said about wally and drugs beforehand, but it did seem that she was hallucinating a bit. Perhaps she had never fully suffused her pattern with Quintessence before? I remembered that the first time that I had done so was a bit of a unique experience, but I supposed that she was having a slightly different experience than I did due to the way that she viewed the world and the different way that she wielded the keys she was given. "There is no dog and your nose isn't bleeding, Veronika. I think you are just not used to the feeling of being that suffused with the energies of the universe, and your body is reacting to it oddly," I said, giving her a hand to help her back up onto her feet as I gave her a smile, my sword stowed back in it's sheath as well as the knives, as I had picked them up before.
However as I was doing that a bright flash of light and a disembodied chorus came from nowhere and assaulted my senses. If it had kept up any longer I would have provided a minor ward with a prayer to make it easier to deal with, but as it came and went fairly quickly it didn't seem like there was any real need to do so. That was quite nice, though I would have liked to see how that would have interacted with this place, as the world almost always treated wards as vulgar where we were from barring being in primal reality, even technocratic ones ran into problems if I recalled correctly. Though that was probably just something with major wards, so I guessed it wouldn't have helped much anyway. What appeared in the aftermath of the light was what seemed to be a rather normal looking woman, but that couldn't be right considering the fact that she had just appeared in a flash of light and with quite literal fanfare. Given I had no clue where we were, I had no way of having a clue what exactly she was, but I figured using a bit of a spell to read her aura would be the best I could do. I blinked my eyes three times to open my perception to such things, the world warping and bending slightly to give me the ability to do so, and answered her rather strange question while I tried to read her aura.
"Well, yes they are. One shouldn't eat too many of them or before dinner though, it will ruin your appetite. I tend to avoid such luxurious food though, I prefer humbler food," I said with a smile without losing a beat, "Do you think you could perhaps tell us where we are? My friend and I are a bit lost, we got caught up in a bit of an incident and are a bit unsure as to where we landed." I was hoping that she would turn out to be helpful, and that she wouldn't be too offended for being asked for help out of nowhere, and if she was, I would probably see it in her aura before anything happened and I could grap Veronika and duck out of here quite quickly with a bit of Magick.

Shen qiedao It was just another normal day on the job for your normal vampire girl trying to get enough money to buy a magically charged bike. Or at least that's what Shen thought when she and Sidestick went out to try and find the enchanging "Golden Boar" a creature rare enough that its bounty could potentially pay for Shen's new vehicle.
She really needed that bike, not just because it looked really badass, but because having a quick method of transportation would give her more of a chance to look for Eve, her master. Her whereabouts were still unknown to the girl, but she had hoped...for the most part.
Unfortunately, the hunt for the boar into the forests on the outskirts of Sonlas had been mostly uneventful for her, she had even resorted to hunting random animals just to get some kind of stimulation.
Thankfully, she was saved from her boredome by a sight that she hadn't expected. Two people fell down from high above the sky not too far from where she was. Sure, it was Eokia, the land of magic and stuff, but for a curious and bored girl trying to look for a possible nonexistent pig, they were a source of curiosity.
She smirked, adjusting her scarf to cover her mouth as she ran to the place where the two had fallen, eyes shining bright with curiosity.
"Should you really get so close?' she heard her sword speak, vibrating calmly as the two ran.
"Who knows, but we might find something interesting right?" Shen replied cheerfully, a chance to meet new people always spelled something interesting on the horizon.
Eventually she arrived at the place where the two fell, surprised by the sound of what seemed like an angelic chrus, reminescent of the ones her mother used to listen to back when she lived in Sanctuary. The chorus was followed by a bright light, so blinding that Shen actually had to pull her scarf all the way to her eyes for a moment.
Thankfully all of that went away, without leaving Shen blind and the sight of the glow was replaced by a woman. "What the what?' the girl said, cocking her head to the side in confusion. How had she done that, where had she come from actually?
In that time she hadn't taken notice of the beings that had fallen from the sky either. Upon closer inspection she noticed that they also seemed different, one of them at least. The other one, a girl with blond hair, was dressed in a way that reminded Shen of the clothing found in Sanctuary. "Could she be from Sanctuary as well?" she thought to herself, becoming a bit excited at the prospect of finding someone from her home country.
"Stop talking, you'll give us away," Sidestick replied, trying to sound as quiet as possible. vampire Neutral good | 20 | female

Things were moving a bit too fast for Veronika to process in her current state, mind a muddled mess from the tass still pumping through her and forced to stand by Michela who she was now leaning against like a boneless noodle, pressing all of her weight into the other girl as Veronika seemed to have forgotten the very basics for standing and generally passing herself off as a human capable of human things. The dog was still there as well, head-cocked and saying something to her about a Frank but it was speaking in english and Veronika was very slowly beginning to lose her grasp on that language under this hallucination, "Oh no! Я забув." she said while patting Michela on the side and sliding back down. It seemed that something had happened while she had been sliding as another woman seemed to have just popped into their little party in the middle of nowhere. Honestly how rude for someone to just come to them during such drama! Michela was probably trying to get the new one to tell her where they were but Veronika had already found out! That bitch making her waste time on the satellites then going to the first local she could find. The hacker grabbed onto Michela's side, used her as leverage and put her hand over the other girl's mouth to cut her off. They didn't need some blasted local to find their own way, she had a map and with a little bit of time access to any part of this backwater country she wanted. "Не розмовляйте з бумами, це змушує їх думати, що у вас є гроші." she whispered, patting Michela's cheek lightly before sliding back down to stare at Pablo. When was this hallucination going to end? It was being a bit of a pain to not speak english and this dog wouldn't stop talking about drugs and Frank and mules. If Veronika wanted it gone she would have to do it herself obviously and while her arms seemed to be malfunctioning and refused to pick up the blasted phone, her brain was more than willing to access the prime programs and after guesstimating the distance she was from the dog, Veronika activated a program to turn it into mush. What she actually did was anyone's guess but it did have the side-effect of turning the grass a few feet away into jelly from sudden heat which then froze. Maybe when she was more cognizant she could figure out how to kill Pablo the mule dog. For now she just had to wait for Michela to carry her away. {translation}"I forgot." Amitiel It seemed that they weren't expecting me. That was not my intention. I blame the light. Wait, no, I take that back, I would never do such a thing.
"I am Amitiel, Archangel of the Garden," I responded to the young woman. I had gathered their auras the very moment I appeared, and was thoroughly surprised by what I found. A pious mortal and a... girl. A young girl with no magic.
A rather rude one. "I'm sorry, but, um... I am able to hear you. I'm a celestial being..." It felt bad to admit that I had eavesdropped - Vessa told me that was a social no-no. But, I couldn't exactly be too careful when demonic invasions were happening all over the globe.
These two, as it stood, were suspects.

I tried my best to ignore Veronika's antics, hoping that she would make herself more sober soon enough. It was lasting quite a while, but then again, such was to be expected with her first dose of Quintessence to that kind of level. It did seem, however, that something that she had said had offended my guess, who appeared to be an archangel of some sort going by what she had said. Her aura however...was rather different from the Fallen I had met to say the least, though it did radiate with the aura of faith that I and others who strongly believed did. I could only assume that because we were in a different realm that she was a spirit that served a greater spirit that liked to prop itself up as God. I had run into enough of their types, and I knew that while it left a bad taste in my mouth her belief was sincere and I did not want to violate that. "I am sorry for my companion's behavior. She was raised in a warzone and is quite out of it right now, it is her first time being so full of...I suppose 'magical energy' is the most universal term for it even if it is not quite right, I said, giving her a smile before uttering a prayer to the Lord asking to help guide this errant child in Latin three times while stroking her head thrice. While it wouldn't be immediately visible to most, it would be quite the wake up call to Veronika, whose body just started producing soap rather than saliva. "I have given her a little bit of discipline, so hopefully that helps out. Unfortunately, it might not and I ask that you be a bit lenient with the girl. It seems that she was quite adversely affected by her time outside of polite society, so she does not know how to behave properly," I said, giving the being in front of me an apologetic smile.
"That would be most excellent, Amitiel. Oh and where are my manners, I am Michela Vicario and this is my partner Veronika Semenov," I said, giving her a smile, "I am sure she would introduce herself if she wasn't quite out of it at the moment." Before I could continue however, my attention was drawn elsewhere, as I saw a faint aura in the distance, pale like the damned descendants of Caine. I wanted to go after it, but I decided that right now was not the best opportunity to do so. Instead, however, I said another prayer and used a bit of magick in an attempt to get a lock of the offender's hair, warping space around a bit of it and using the spheres of Life, Matter, and Correspondence in an attempt to bring some of it to me. Sympathetic Magick was far easier than trying to find her with a vague impression by scrying after all. With that done and the hair stashed should I obtain it, I returned my attention to the guest in front of me. "Sorry about that, Amitiel. There was a bit of a matter that required my attention. A foul beast that preys on the blood of humans was nearby, and I needed to try to get a bit of them so that I could deal with it at a later date when it would not be rude to you to do so," I said giving her a smile before adding, "Hold on a second, I think I have a perfect payment for the help you are offering to us."
I knew that she liked cookies, and such a feat was fairly simple for me. With a prayer of thanksgiving given four times with seven words in latin in each line of the three line prayer said quickly, I wove a plate of cookies out in front of me in my hands to offer to the angel. Chocolate chip, as that was the most generic I could think of and I didn't want to try for anything too complex or fancy lest it be something she didn't like. "Here you go, for you. I hope you enjoy them," I said, giving her a smile and offering up the cookies to her, making sure to ward off any attempts by Veronika to try to grab some. She had been naughty, and naughty girls didn't get dessert after all.

Shen qiedao "Huh," Shen muttered, suddenly feeling something tug at the back of her hair. She reached out, trying to feel for her hair, only to realize that part of her ponytail had suddenly vanished. "Ah! And I just grew it back too!" she called out, rather loudly too.
It took her a second, as well as Sidestick's sigh of frustration, to realize what she had done, causing her to turn back towards the onlookers. They hadn't reacted to her yet, but she knew there wasn't much point in her staying hidden anymore.
"Heh, yo," Shen said as she dropped from the tree she had been hiding on, waving at them nervously as she tried to give them a polite smile. "I'm sorry for eavesdropping, just your friendly neighbourhood pig hunter," she added with a similarly nervous laugh.
Upon closer inspection, she realized that the people around her weren't as harmless as she had originally thought. One of the two women looked super strict and her instincts told her that she shouldn't mess with her.
The other woman, the one that had surfaced from the bright light, was even scarier to her for some reason, just being close to her was causing Shen to tense up. "So uh...you guys like skydiving or something? You know you need a parachute for that right?" vampire Neutral good | 20 | female

What was the bum saying to her now? Probably something snarky but Veronika had conveniently forgotten her english and decided to not take it back from the hallucination quite yet. Unfortunately for her the option wasn't solely in her hands as Michela decided now was the best moment to turncoat and used her wicked nun magic to make soap replace her saliva. Yes this was a truly pleasant experience of chemical tastes which made her want to throw up only a small bit but thankfully it makes Pablo go away. Of course it also resulted in Veronika moving to her hands and knees to lick at the grass to remove the nasty taste from her mouth, "Oi you shithead nun you're supposed to protect me not use magic on me." she griped with a heavy lisp as she let her tongue hang out of her mouth while she scraped away at it. The bum was still here, should probably find out what her name was now that she understood english again but bum was a good placeholder for now. Could use some directions too since Veronika didn't particularly feel like running quintessence through her phone at the moment and honestly now that the high was down she was feeling particularly lazy, and she wasn't feeling particularly helpful with a mouth full of soap. Veronika chose to lie on the ground instead of getting back up, "You're giving the bum cookies? You don't know where she came from Michela. What if she's a Russian? Нет такой вещи, как хороший русский!" she yelled at her companion, having to wipe her chin periodically as soap continued to stream down it. Every word was gross chemical but she would be heard! Another bum stranger had entered into their little area as well now, a younger looking woman dressed in something sensible unlike the two squares she was next to which was nice but with her luck Michela was planning to murder her already, "I don't need a parachute, I have Michela and she is an excellent damage sponge." Indeed she was, somehow getting them through all of that and being the one in better physical condition said something about what Veronika believed was obviously an anomaly among mages and also an abomination of some sort, though she wasn't one to care as long as that abomination was on her side. {Translation}No such thing as a good russian

Amitiel I was to be vigilant. Angels were taught to be as such - unwavering warriors of Light.
But, a cookie could not be ignored. "Thank you very much," I said to the... nun, as she was called by the rather flippant female. I was about to take a bite before another woman came from the trees.
This was a particularly popular spot, wasn't it?
I listened to her speak, and found my head tilting. She was... rather normal. That was more bizarre to me than meeting beings of different planar make-up. I found myself sitting cross-legged, hovering in the air as my halo dissipated.
The conversation went on, and I learned the nun's name - Michela. "It is good to meet you, Michela," I said to her, then looked to the others. "And the two of you, as well. I am Amitiel."
Despite my expression being quite neutral, as it usually was, I was calm. These people were new, and I was supposed to socialize.
Even if it cut into cookie consumption time. archangel neutral Good | Ageless | Sexless
