At first, there was nothing. Well, no. That's incorrect. At first, there were some things. Those some things were what you would expect in a place like this--long-dead trees with icicles hanging precariously off of them. A permanent layer of frost covering the ground. Some of the native wildlife, but besides that, there was nothing worth noting, at first... But enough with at first. There was a flicker. A flicker of...something. Something coming into existence. Then that flicker turned into a someone. The someone was tall, standing at 6'1. Their hair was short, clipped neat. They wore an impeccable dark suit, even if that was a cliche. Their eyes were like the sun--pale and fiery. They look out of place in this wintry landscape. With a sigh, Hadraniel wondered for the 251st time how they ended up stationed...here. The angel shook their head, as if to clear it from such thoughts, although it is not successful. They were frustrated that an angel of their stature ended up stationed in a place like this, although it was far from the worst assignment. Here, they could manifest themself, and not have to compact themself in a small vessel. Hadraniel ran over their allowances once more, before trudging off towards an unknown destiny.
