It was a bright sunny day in the bustling city of Estican it would've perfect day for a walk through town to window shop if not for the group of people huddled around the castle wall yelling. The people were crowded around the front gate of the castle as close as they could get to the semi-circle of guards with shields forcing a stop to their movement. A bystander could hear the protesters yelling things such as; "Where is the King? Why does he abandon his people?" or "Are they even trying to lift the curse? Do they not care anymore?". It had been quite sometime since the citizens of Rifal have seen their King and when they have it's only been at night and looked absolutely radiant then, as if he was completely unaffected by an cursed affects. It had also been quite sometime since the citizens have heard their Queen give any news or talk to the public. Since the curse she is the one that they more often but she never says anything, never answering questions from her citizens, she has given a few public speeches at night that were award winning and inspired the people for a little while. Between the unseen King and silent Queen some people were getting restless.
When the protesters found that they could make no progress by attempting to break through the guards they started to take to the streets and gain support from anyone they could. If you were unlucky enough to find yourself in the heart of Estican city you would find yourself drawn into these events. The protesters weren't looking to harm anyone they simply were trying to persuade others to help them with words, at least that was their plan at the moment.
