Choushin frowned at the kid's response. He wasn't a dog, at least he didn't look like one. Maybe the kid never saw a fox before, which was a shame. Given that now he found out that Kitsunes were fairly common, it was saddening to see someone that didn't know what a fox was.
When the kid held out his foot, Choushin simply tilted his head. "I'm no dog: I'm a fox, and I can't be taken to a pound, no matter how hard you would try to do so." He suddenly said to the kid, waiting to see if the kid would believe it was a ghost, or a hallucination.

Choushin could have kept up the game for a while longer, but he soon began to get bored of it. The kid wasn't acting like he thought he would, and decided that he would show himself in his fox form.
Before he came out, however he changed the note to say "Don't you have anything better to eat?". When Choushin did come out, the kid would see what looked like an Arctic Fox. Given how dark the room was, the kid might not be able to tell the black tips on his ears and tail, which would work well for this guise. It was up to the kid to figure out if Arctic foxes were native to this region.

Choushin continued to grin. The poor kid thought that it was something else doing all this. He next made a note appear on the wall that the kid could clearly see. The note said "The little boy is not alone." Choushin continued to hide in the shadow, ready to jump out if the kid would try to charge at something and hurt himself. He didn't want that to happen. He wasn't going to be that cruel to the kid. After all, where the kid was, it seemed like he needed some help.

Choushin was wandering around in an area that he hadn't been to yet. While it was quite chilly outside, his fox form's fur kept him nice and warm from the snow. After all, it was based off the Arctic Fox, whose fur is built for snow and ice and has black tips on his ears and tail. He knew from the look of the sky that it was going to start snowing soon, or raining, so he was looking for some form of shelter out here. He wanted the challenge of finding somewhere himself.
He soon did find a place: A house that looked neglected. He saw the unkept grass, poor condition of the fences and yard, and how the house looked like it was a tip away from being demolished. It was a bad sight to see, but it looked like it would hold up for at least one night. He shook himself off and approached the house. While he could have gone through the front door, he instead found a window that he could jump through. He did so and landed inside.
He could definitely tell the inside was much worse. If he was a normal fox, he would be concerned for his health, but since he was a Kitsune, he didn't need to. Anything wrong with him he could fix himself. He did hear banging on a counter in what he guessed was the kitchen. Guess he wasn't alone.
He approached the kitchen, moving quietly as to not alert anyone who might be here. When he got a good look at the kitchen, he saw a tall child, busting open a can of peaches. He grinned and began to use his illusion magic to do something subtle first: He changed the hammer to look like a toy hammer, even though it still functioned like a regular hammer. He wanted to see how the kid would react before showing himself.

Choushin had arrived at a place he hadn't quite seen before: An area that was dense with Cherry Blossoms. He didn't know what this place was called, and his interest was already piqued. What was this place? Why was it here? What lived here? Who made this? These were questions that went through the kitsune's head as he wandered in.
Transforming into his normal fox form, which had him look like an arctic fox with black tips on his ears and tail, he began to follow what seemed like a normal path. He was already feeling some sort of presence here. He could get faint feelings of other kitsunes here, as well as other critters, humans, ect. Now this place had him interested. Since he could feel other Kitsune here, he might be able to find a place where he could be among his own kind. Whether that was going to be a good thing or bad thing was yet to be determined.
After spending some time walking around in his fox form, he soon picked up on the scent of food. He could tell that it was human food. He liked human food because of how there are many ways to prepare it, though he's never really made any himself. Never had a good time to do so, outside of hunting the animals humans made food from, and that was about the closet he would get to making some himself.
Following the scent of the food, he soon came across what looked like a picnic area. He saw that there was someone here. He could tell that she was a kitsune, based on the aura he felt from them. Deciding that it was relatively safe to do so here, he exposed 5 total tails as he approached the female. He didn't know her name, but he hoped she was friendly, or there might be a kitsune battle here to disturb the peace. He wasn't attempting to hide as he approached the female, acting like a friendly and curious fox, sniffing the food, wondering if she could tell he was a kitsune too.

Choushin had been hanging around Sanctuary for a bit. He knew that the city had a stigma against magical beings, but he was good at hiding such abilities. He was also in a nearby forest, so if they did try to catch him, he could easily escape into another dimension. However, right now he was smelling the scent of blood and human organs. He had indulged in this sort of stuff before, during one century where he was a bit of a psychopath in order to spice up that time in his life. He began to follow the scent, and saw that a human was being eaten. It looked like a Kitsune was eating them. He approached them. "Do pay mind to the bones. Not good for the teeth." He said in a semi joking manner.

Choushin frowned. Some of this wasn't what he was expecting to hear, but he just has to work with what he's got, even if it isn't much. "For all tense and purposes, we'll just say that she managed to get a claim on my soul. If I can't hide from her, then that means to break the claim, I'll have to find out as much as I can, becoming a detective on the topic. While I know she's got her hand on my soul, I don't think I can summon her outright. She's not like that. If I knew a weakness of a female Daemon with strong mental powers who claim others souls by giving them what they want, then I could turn the tables on her." He said, thinking about what he could do. He didn't think using mental effects would do much, so he could only think of trying out something more physical.

Choushin shrugged. "How should I know. I know that she makes deals with others for their souls. They told me that directly. As for the question on finding her, it ain't like I can call her to me. As far as I know, she wants to stay hidden from me, which means I need to get creative to find her again. Either that, or learn enough about Daemons that I can force her to do one thing I wish for her to do." He said. He picked up the book and began to flip through it, not sure if he would find something new in it. "And if she would try to destroy my soul, I can keep it in another dimension she can't reach." He added, jotting down some notes as to what he found in the book so far.

Choushin yawned. "Well, do either of you know a lot about Daemons? One of them has invaded themselves into my soul, and if what you two are saying about this whole thing is true, then I'll need to be one prepared feline to chase the crafty invasive species out of my soul." He said, now thinking that he needed to find books about Daemons, so he could come prepared to drive Alice out of the claim she has so he could be himself fully again.

Choushin nodded his head. "I guess I'm going to have to play hide and seek with the one with a claim on my soul, then. Given that they're not easy to find and I can't summon them at will, but I would still like to be prepared to beat them at their own game first. As for dreams, I know that I can manipulate others minds with illusions, mind control, or possession, but I've never tried dreams before. Might have to try that at some point." He said, covering both of those such topics that were covered in the discussion. He checked his pockets, and everything that needed to be in there was in there.
He then yawned. "We can either now share life experiences, chat, play a game, or just read, I guess." He said as he looked back at the pile of books he would have to put back.

Choushin yawned. "Ah. That is something I'm not sure I'm familiar with. As for why I'm here, let's just say I'm trying to find out how to break a contract one has on a soul. Just to see if it's possible and how to go about doing so. After all, people do say that rules were meant to be broken." He said as he looked around once more. He heard something else approach them, and kept an ear tilted towards their direction, ready to react if they moved. "And yet it seems like we have more to our little party here." He said in an absentminded tone.

Choushin was looking over a book when he heard something approach him. His ears twisted a bit to listen better, as he heard footsteps, but not the kind that come from two feet. He figured it was a four legged creature walking by him. He then saw what looked like a dragon come around the corner and look at some of the shelves near where he was sitting. He didn't think much of them at first, going back into his reading.
Then a thought came into his head: What if they knew something about a being's soul, and how to possibly go about removing the hold another being would have on it. It certainly wouldn't hurt him to ask, and that's what he was going to do. Setting his book down after he set a small piece of paper as a bookmark in it, he looked at the dragon. He was just going to try an ice-breaker of sorts right now, just to see if they were friendly or not.
"Salutations. Are you perhaps looking for something in particular here? I've been coming here quite a bit myself, despite that others think a library is boring." Choushin said to her, a kind tone and smile as he spoke. This would tell him if they would be willing to chat with him so he could ask his question.

Choushin was sitting by himself within a library in the city of Eokia, his kitsune ears and tail showing, knowing how this town was more welcoming of supernatural beings. He had been coming here quite a bit lately because there was something he was wanting to learn more about. With a decision he made that seemed good at first, but now he was starting to want it reversed, he was trying his best to find information on that. Whether it be at the library, or within other realms. However, he never got the answer he was looking for, and he didn't have comparatively to him, all the time in the world to find an answer. He had a pile of books around him, about topics about the soul, seeing if he could find anything useful in here. That or someone to hopefully come along to assist him with the topic.

Choushin nodded his head. "Yes. If you don't forget about it, that is." He said with a light laugh as he took her charm in his paw. It really didn't matter what the gift was. He just wanted to have some fun, and will with her in the future if he sees her again.

Choushin chuckled. "Yeah, an offering is needed, or else I would hold your soul ransom until you got me something to replace it, though it seems like you were prepared. Not that I would have done anything bad to your soul. Probably would have done a good thing to it." He said with a mischievous wink and grin, holding out his paw for the offering.
