PERSONALITY:
Saiph can "appear" to be cold or even flat in personality, but he is more lively then he leads people to believe. In actuality Saiph is a bundle of emotions that take their turns to show up, in other words when in a specific mood that very emotion "overloads" and seemingly becomes his "character".
Saiph may seem like the type of person who has given up on humanity but contrary to popular belief he admires human life above even his own technology. Regardless of what achievements he has or will manage to grasp he will always see technology as a tool, he has however come to acceptance that whatever humanity builds is the next stage of human development as he promptly believes the "current" state of humans was the final destination in biological evolution so the next step would be to make life easier with their own skills.

HISTORY:
Saiph was born into a world that was run by machines, man had been deemed untrustworthy to run it's own civilization, so an Alien AI dominated the planet in hopes to improve human life. As a child, Saiph had no qualms with how the world was as a matter of fact he was influenced by the machines, he grew up with the belief that technology was required for survival.
His childhood had consisted mostly of a pursuit to become closer to the rulers of the planet, by becoming a technomancer and scientist. His goal was to become engrained in history as someone who made an impact on the world. In that time, Saiph was a simple person, who cried, bled and sweat like any other person, but his goal didn't appear out of thin air.
When Saiph learned about the past histories of humanity and how it all led up to them being dominated by an alien force, something within Saiph that never existed before was born...
Pride.
Soon, Saiph would learn Pride to be his greatest sin. He always found it funny, how in movies whenever there was an alien or a force that wasn't human that opposed humanity, in the end Humanity always pulled through, somehow he became living proof of that being a reality in his universe.
Saiph mastered the technologies of his species AND the aliens, with his heart and the combined knowledge of two technologies Saiph took down the alien overlords that previously dominated humanity, not out of rebellion...but out of Pride.
It was this day that Saiph knew his name would be forever engrained into history, he could die an old man happy of his contribution. When the time finally came for his long life to end...he awoke his body was...young but the world he once knew existed no more.
He found himself in a world unlike his own...but also similar, it was confusing but he came to understand the importance of his position. Whatever he had in his past life, what ever achievement he accomplished...it no longer existed.
Saiph came to understand that for some reason, his life remained while his own world soon expired, not killed but it simply ended as he believed all things would eventually. He now existed in a place void of all logic he knew, in an abstract world the only thing he could think of to do was to adapt.
