♥ yuuki ♥The wasteland was vast, and he didn't even know how he found himself there. He was a wanderer, no real destination in mind, and for him, he was just wandering because he didn't have a place to call home. Because for some reason, not a lot of people take kindly to snakes, especially ones that are venomous, even if they are human majority of the time. It was bothersome, but he didn't mind to much, if they didn't want him around anymore he would leave. Though it was sad to leave some places, sometimes he got attached to people, and then he was forced to leave. It was painful for him, and not the type of pain he really likes, emotional pain is no fun. So he ended up in this wasteland. That would've been fine, he is a snake, he can tolerate the dryness and the heat of the desert like area, but their was a problem. Did I forget to mention the monstrous bird that was trying to eat him? Yes, I think I did, well anyways there was this monster of a bird. It was bigger then any normal bird, that would hunt him while in his normal form. But it was big enough to want to hunt him in his human form. It was rather obvious that he was a snake if you really looked at him. Patches of purple scales in different areas on his pale skinned body. His second eyelids that cased his golden eyes occasionally and his forked tongue. So this bird was hunting him, and the yokai sort of forgot about his shapeshifting abilities that he could use. He could've easily used his abilities to transform into something bigger, but he sort of forgot about things like that sometimes. So here he was running, rather clumsily, even though he was often in this form, the whole fact about having legs was still so weird for him. But he still liked it, plus he got hurt more often using his legs. Which was always fun, more fun getting hurt accidentally then hurting himself on purpose. Uncontrolled and unexpected pain was always the best. Red fluids dripped from multiple places on his arms and legs, bleeding onto the very worn bandages that he already had on. Yes, he liked the pain he was feeling. But he wasn't going to let himself get caught by this beast, because it wasn't going to torture him, it was just going to straight up eat him for lunch, or dinner. Then he smelled something, I would say saw, but his eyesight is terrible. It wasn't anything like the wasteland that he'd been travelling through for no real reason, it was like a little bit of heaven in the middle of hell. So he decided to head towards it, once he managed to stumble into the perimeters, he majestically tripped and fell on his face. He was hyperventilating, and once he stood up to run some more, he realized the thing wasn't going to come in for some reason. It squawked angrily at him, but flew away after a while. He looked around, sticking his tongue out a few times to help him smell. He smelled something nearby, but he didn't know what, so he decided to call out to see if anybody was around. "Hellooooo?"

Long body, bright apricot hued fur, ferret like, bear like, tiger like, long furred insect winged, fantlered, glistening, gemstone like blue claws and antlers, and a large imposing stature, larger than that bird at least in length for it probably had a wider wingspan than her shoulder span. Ten feet tall, possibly more possibly less depending on how she held herself, probably not the best person to run into once one noticed the disapproval in her almond shaped eyes. She smelled snake, and blood, She saw a fearful little humanoid being. To herself she debated squashing it. She refrained, insted materializing in front of him close enough that the force of her presence be felt. "You stumble here and hello's really all you have to say for yourself?" She asked, her tone critcal, and blunt, yet the quality of her voice was far less imposing than her stature, a bit like a child or someone who was not long ago a child, in the alto-sopprano range, slightly whiny, and not always easy to take seriously for that reason. Shika had strong oppinions as to how beings other than herself should act in any situation. Stumbling in and simply calling hello was to her, quite out of line.

♥ yuuki ♥It slightly shocked the hebi to have the large being appear before him, though wasn't much for feeling fear, so he just looked at her curiously. Looking up at the creature with sharp golden eyes, batting his thick eyelashes as he listened to her speak. Yuuki stood in a rather odd position, not used to standing on his long skinny legs. He licked his lips out of habit, smelling his surroundings as he did so. The air was fragrant, and wasn't suffocating like the dry and dusty air of the wasteland of which this small oasis sits in. He reached up and scratched the back of his head, getting some blood that was on his hand in his choppy cut purple hair. The yokai pondered an answer to that question, it was weird, he never really had a question like that asked to him before. He wasn't really sure what this place was, but he should've guessed that they would be rather protective of their little heavenly area. He didn't really think he did anything bad, he was running for his life and ended up in this little safe zone. Was that really so bad? "I suppose, why ya ask?" he said, a smile going back on his pale complexion. He pulled his hand from his hair and intertwined his fingers together behind his back. Letting himself wobble a little bit as he waited for a reply from the female creature. He didn't know that he was out of line, if he was, his affiliation was mainly neutral and he didn't even really know he was doing something bad until someone spoke straight to him and told him he shouldn't be doing what he is doing. Being a rather obedient reptile, if someone told him to do something, no matter who it was that told him or whatever it was that he was doing, he did it. With no complaints. There wasn't much to complain about now was there, maybe he didn't get to do what he wanted, but at least he was living. That's enough for him.

The snake's responce was like a natural abrasive to shika, another step out of line. She remained restrained for now, her thick fur hiding some of the tensing of her muscles, her expression never softening even for a moment as she looked down at him. He wasnt even acting afraid or appologetic when shika thought he really ought to simply be trembling. Shika already expected ill of this stranger due to his serpentine nature. Snakes were tricky creatures. They couldnt be trusted, not from any of shika's experiences with them. Most didn't even make a good snack, so shika had a firm bias against this currently humanoid figure just for being what he was. She wasn't going to justify her actions and words to him. She was barely willing to justify anything she did to someone who actually knew her like her tribemates. Shika suddenly smacked her long tail on the ground, making the ground tremble slightly at the impact. "Look, I already how you ended up here." She'd been watching a bit from one of the better vantagepoints on the palace grounds. "This land is claimed so convince me, why I shouldn't chase you out." Chances were that nothing he said would be able to convince shika on the matter. Few could interact with shika without her finding some fault in every little thing to color her reactions.

"In other words, state your business here or get the hell out." The rough voice called out towards the stranger from a little further away. The all too familiar voice of none other than Kim. As pleasurable as ever. The half-human settled beside Shika when she got close enough, arms folded behind her head, posture lazily as she put all the weight of her body onto one leg. The witch glared darkly down to the man, lips curved to the side in a frown. Were they still accepting members? She didn't really like the thought of letting any of these creatures in. They were now in an unknown place. Not the jungle they use to call home. They had no idea where they were. Was it really that safe? Who knows what kinds of things were out there. But she supposed, if the others were okay with it, she didn't really care. If they turned out to be trouble she would just kick their asses. "You're on StoneTribe territory, clod. You got a lot of nerve comin' here just to spew casual talk."

♥ yuuki ♥The hebi wasn't really sure why the large creature was so angry at him when he didn't do anything wrong, or nothing that he knew. He just stumbled into their territory after being attacked, guess nobody show respect to snakes. Though he didn't show any other emotion on his face, besides slight curiosity when a new person appeared. Though he just smiled at them, not phased through their harsh tones, wasn't very welcoming, but he was used to it. He wasn't used to it right away, but I suppose this is how it's going to work. Yuuki giggled giddily before talking in a rather chipper tone "Well, I am rather hungry" he said, like that was a proper reason to stay. The yokai squatted the wobbled, not having much balance. Picking up a little plant from the ground he looked at it a giggled some more "Well this is weird, I'm rather popular today" talking to the plant as if it was another person. Not really bothered by this situation in the slightest. Or at least that is how he looked, he didn't really liked to be constantly kicked out of places, never truly having a home. But he also knew complaining wasn't going to get him anywhere, so why do it?

"Well you're welcome to eat kim." Shika joked in a tone that really didn't sound like a joke. Shika was slightly annoyed that kim had needed to come and reiterate things in such a boring way. The anger from ber tribemate was amusing but otherwise it really was same old same old. "Even better, I can hand you a chicken and then kick you out." Shika had once brought live chickens to the tribe as an extra food source. However, she was not good at taking care of the birds, so they tended to be a bit sickly. It was a show of exetremely unusual kindness for shika to even offer. "Seriously there's plenty to hunt out in the wastes if you know where to look for it." It was a hard life but even in the barren land some creatures seemed adapted to thrive. Shika barely thought the little animals of the barren land were not worth being food for herself, but for a low life who smelled of snake, if he was constricted to a hard life all the better.

♥ yuuki ♥The snake continued to twirl the small flower in his fingers, looking rather giddy, odd for his current situation. At her offer for him to eat her tribemate, he looked up. An angry looking pink haired girl, he cocked his head slightly, not really sure if she was really joking or not. Then she offered to give him a chicken, and his already happy face brighten. "Really?!" he asked, acting rather excited, disregarding the feathers, chicken tasted really good. His forked tongue slipped out of his mouth for a second, slightly sniffing the air when he did so. He was happy that Shika was being 'nice' to him, if you could consider her harshness that. Dropping the flower, the bandaged man stood up straight, stumbling slightly before regaining his balance. He pursed his lips, pouting slightly after hearing her comment about there being stuff to hunt in the wasteland of which this little bit of paradise dwells in. "But I don't know where, I'm not from here" the hebi said, kicking the grass with his bare bandaged foot. It was the truth, he wasn't a desert snake, he just stumbled upon this wasteland, and didn't really have the smarts in thinking he shouldn't even be here. He wasn't used to this place, and he knew nothing about it. But he didn't really think much about that, act first and maybe ask questions later.

"That head of your's is doomed to be bitten off your shoulders' if you're like that, not using it." shika scolded. it was the people who adapted to the environments they were thrown in who thrived best. If not knowing was the excuse, the answer was learn. That was what shika had needed to do in the past a few times thanks to her neglectful parents. She expected others to be similarly capable. "I'll be back with the chicken. Kim, keep that thing out of trouble right?" she requested, proudly turning away, before suddenly vanishing far faster than a creature of her size ought to be able.
She'd reappear at the chicken coup, where there were a few skinny, molting birds left to choose from. Shika wrenched out one of the smallest of those without ceremony with which she would return, the chicken gripped suffocatingly in one of her large bearlike paws.
