North, west, east, and south, there were demons all about. Eokia and Sanctuary were both unable to escape the massive influx of evil beasts. As the chaos continued, with bloodshed, destruction, and despair, something new was happening. The scanners from Sanctuary’s anchored satellites were showing the full range of the new land that had appeared. It was in a shape that could only be described as a bird in flight, with some various islands off of its coast. Beyond that, the Authorities were unable to pick up anything else. Any supernatural beings with at least the slightest bit of spiritual or magical presence awareness could notice the great evil coming from the south, however. It filled the hearts of many with only the hint that the worst had yet to come. Within the haunted plane of Necropolis, the rifts continued to grow increasingly unstable. The majority of the rips in the space of that hellish paradise found a surface; the southern waters of their world. The ocean many miles south of Eokia and Sanctuary were stained black, and anything that sunk under their currents was carried off to the third astral plane of the evil ones. Blake Acciaio stood with many of the Necropolis residents at his feet, breathing heavy. Despite his strength, the enemy was tireless in their approach. This indeed was the fall of their world as they knew it. Activating his earpiece to talk to his subordinates, the Director released stern orders. “Tell everyone to activate their mind protection. Release experiment 6566.” “But sir!” came a voice, the radio operator, tucked safely away, desperate in his ear. “That has yet to be fully tested; we don’t know if it’s safe!” “You heard me,” Blake said, reaffirming his command. There was no response; he knew they dared not disobey him. Experiment 6566 was none other than a giant nuke; one engineered to have no harmful effects towards humans, but it would kill off unholy beings, and possibly critically injure various supernatural beings. Of course, the nuke was not foolproof, and was not even out of the first phase of testing. It could easily miss the most random of targets, take lives of humans, destroy stuff not meant to be destroyed, or simply fail altogether by either malfunctioning and not working, or taking the life of anything and everything within its radius. It mattered not; if the enemy was to take his city, they would go down with everybody. He was fully prepared to die for his cause, and did not mind a little bit of ‘risk’ here and there. From the center of the city, the bright light of the unique bomb began, and at a slower speed than one would expect; a mere eighty miles per hour. His enemy could escape, but so could anyone scared of the blast. Most of the buildings would be safe, but corrupt energies would dissipate within the ‘light’, that was not actual light. To victory or bust! OOC:// So, this ‘nuke’ will kill off weaker demons, injure moderate/stronger demons who don't avoid the blast, possibly injure certain supernaturals, and maybe kill off some humans with it. All PCs are guaranteed survival; NPCs, not so much. Have fun, everyone, and enjoy the new site map! Please PM me if there are any questions or concerns.

Here's a formal welcome to the site, Goat! (:
I love anime too, but have not been able to get into Homestuck, even though I've heard lots of good things about it. I hope you enjoy it here, and don't worry about bad English; from what I've seen in speaking to you, you've done well.
I hope you enjoy it here, and please do not hesitate to PM me if you have any questions. ^o^

There was a fox. Bright, silvery gray fur he could boast on his pelt. There was no doubt to anyone who knew their canines that he was a silver fox, though his pale pelt could certainly lead one to question. Bright teal eyes would lock onto the farm before him, specifically targeting the chickens.
Fattened, plump, juicy, and all of them dumb animals. With only failed attempts at scratching or pecking him there to thwart him, he would make off with one. Using fair speed, the silver fox dashed for the open pasture of chickens. With ease, one was captured, and carried off as he swished his tail back and forth with pride in his catch. Despite all he could do, the win of a hunt always filled him with pride, as it should any clever predator.
Eventually as he made his way down the street, completely unafraid of being seen by humans in the dawning light, he traced the fence, enticed by a new smell. Human food was not something he had much access to, nor had he ever been very fond of old scraps. Nevertheless, the scent was sweet and appealing. Being a handsome and clean fox would likely aid him in begging to obtain something fresh, if only he could hide his kill and rid the blood from his light gray muzzle. Sitting by the fence post where the magpie sat, he observed the activity, quietly planning in his mind while the dead chicken lay next to him, still slightly warm.

A peaceful day, one would think, as the weather and the land seemed stable in the land of Sanctuary, with few accidents to report, at least for that hour. Blake Acciaio sat in his office, sipping tea, as one might expect. Usually, his tea was flavored with many different types of serums, all meant for enhancing him. Immunities to mental powers, physical strength and speed, durability against elemental or magic attacks, he had them all, in a lovely tea, made just for him.
However, this time the Director of the Sanctuary Authorities chose to drink standard earl grey; black tea with a hint of bergamot, with a teaspoon and a half of refined sugar. Though he now wished for chamomile tea to keep him calm while sifting through paperwork, the black-haired young man did not mind the drink as it was.
If only the day could have continued so peaceful, mildly boring, as is was now… Sirens began to blare in the building; not the kind of loud siren that would alert him of an intruder, but one that alerted everyone of an emergency elsewhere.
Standing up and leaving his prized tea, Blake dashed for one of the operator rooms, monitoring cameras and sensors around the Capital City. “What’s going on!?” he demanded. The operators in the room, fellow Enforcers began to explain the ‘tragedy’ and ‘devastation’.
This was none other than the hard truth that the continent had been severed, just like that. The ‘rifts’ they had been monitoring and shutting off public access to had been growing increasingly unstable. And now? One had escaped their attention, and that incompetence would cost them.
The communications with the rest of Sanctuary had faded. Reports and videos and photos were coming in by the second, showing the new beaches, cliffs, and ridges that had been cause. One small town had even been cut in half, friends and families separated. It did not end there, however.
Demons, similar to the imps and evil spirits and fallen angels they had fought before were emerging once again, this time in far greater numbers; almost as if they had been banished from their homeland all at once. Some were reported to be dazed and confused, while others ready to shed blood and destroy the land. “Deploy the entire army, if we have to! Use every resource we have!” Blake demanded, gripping the hilt of the rapier sheathed at his side.
“Sir, there’s something coming up on our scanner! Another land mass has appeared to the northwest, one we have never seen before. The magic energy coming from this place is immense!” a lower-ranked Enforcer reported, their voice urgent.
“Take care of the demons first, but set up a watch on that land. If anything comes our way from that direction, take them out,” Blake Acciaio ordered, beginning to storm out of the room and building, ready to join the fray. He had a durable ear monitor to listen for more reports and to continue giving orders, but there was no way he planned to sit this out. Their entire lifestyle was at stake!
~~~
A loud, impressed whistle came from the lips of the young teen with many warm colored feathers in her long white hair. The Phoenix in human’s skin had not expected the sudden appearance of land to wake her from her nap. From what Desiree's keen red eyes could see, this was very new, land that had yet to be explored.
So why was she waiting here?
The Eokians had to explore, and she wanted to be among the first of the brave adventurers. Leaping off of the tree from where she had settled down to perch for the afternoon, the girl transformed into a brightly colored Vermillion Bird, with a few flames and sparks lacing the fringe of her feathers. Onto discover new lands! Who else would follow her across the small stretch of sea to explore the anomaly before them?
A.R. LIBRARY STAT SYSTEM What you see before you is a universally accepted, optional stat system for the Abstract Reality universe. This is entirely for fun, and is simply a tool for your own personal use, or for extra details in sitewide events. Feel free to ignore it, or try playing with it! STAT FIELDS I n t e l l i g e n c e : How adept is your character mentally? This category describes how much wisdom, cunning, or overall smarts, book or street, that your character has. S t r e n g t h : How physically strong is your character? Can they lift only a few pounds, many tons, or entire islands? S p e e d : How fast is your character? Are they as slow as a turtle, as fast as a train, or can they race around the entire world in one hour? S t a m i n a : How long can your character keep up in doing strenuous tasks, be it battle or sports. Can they fight or run for days on end without rest, or only last a few minutes? D u r a b i l i t y : How tough is your character to take down? Are they one to constantly regenerate all wounds, feeling no pain? Or could they be hurled down to earth without a single scratch? Perhaps only one bullet can bring them to their knees. S u p e r n a t u r a l E n e r g y : This includes mana, chi, magic, spirit powers, etc. How much does your character have? Do they have immense power, or only the smallest trace of magic? C o m b a t P r o f i c i e n c y : How adept is your character in a fight? Are they a skilled strategist and warrior, a rough rogue with only instinct to guide them, or have they taken down gods and dragons with their skill in battle? P o w e r P r o f i c i e n c y : Even if your character has magic, are they able to successfully utilize it in combat or in daily tasks? Can they use it well in battle, or are they not as well practiced in their craft as others? NUMBERS 0 - Weak/Fragile 1 - Slightly below average. 2 - Average. 3 - Above average. 4 - Gifted. 5 - Master/Beyond supernatural 6 - Just below god-tier. Could take on demi-gods, demons, produce mass destruction. 7 - Omniscient. Could take on gods and destroy lands. USAGE To utilize the stat system effectively, you simply pick a number on a scale from 0-7 to put in a specific stat field. For example: Examplechar is a Kitsune. Basically, he is a fox with magic and shapeshifting powers. Here are his stats. Intelligence: 5 Strength: 4 Speed: 4 Stamina: 3 Durability: 2 Supernatural Energy: 6 Combat Proficiency: 1 Power Proficiency: 5 Alternatively, you may apply areas for 'potential' by putting them in parenthesis, or by dividing them with symbols, commas, dashes, etc. This includes other forms that the character has access to, or use of powers that enhance stats. Such as if our Examplechar fox were to sprout nine tails, some of his stats would increase. If he were to turn into a human for a little while, his stats may decrease. Feel free to play with the form and stats if you wish. Have fun! Intelligence: Strength: Speed: Stamina: Durability: Supernatural Energy: Combat Proficiency: Power Proficiency:
