Taige was outside with the others when the rain stopped. While it was warm inside, he knew that he couldn't stay in there forever. When everyone else came outside, he followed too. His fur wasn't fully built for the chilly wind, but he didn't complain about it. He was keeping an eye on the weird child he heard about from the snake. He was able to keep an eye on her, but with a lapse of judgement, he saw that she sunk into a mud puddle. "Hold on!" He shouted as he tried to run to her, but had trouble finding her.

Taige chuckled. "How do you know if I have other powers or not? By only specifying one type, you wouldn't' limit my other abilities, which you might or might not know about." He said. "Besides, a fair fight wouldn't be fair because I was made to be a hunter." He said.

"As I said: Wild instincts. While I can think for my own, sometimes my wild side kicks in, going back to instincts of others of my kind, which can lead to not thinking for hunting, finding water, the sort. Just like how you had instincts earlier and tried to run away from me, instead of fighting." Taige said.

"Well, it never hurts to try, right? Because I know that if she bites someone, they might fight back in defense response." Taige said.

Taige shook his head. "Not really, no. The only reason I did just now was because of wild instincts kicking in. Not like I could really help that." He said, still cautious of the mouse, in case they tried to attack again.

Taige growled when his claw missed the mouse. Taige began to sniff around again before his instincts began to die down. When they did, he looked around. He knew the mouse was still here. "If you stop attacking me, I'll stop attacking you." He said.

Taige observed as the fire got started and looked up when he heard a name. He looked to the other mammal. "So, your name's Auru? Might as well say my name now: It's Taige. I don't remember if I said that earlier, but a refresher never hurt." He said. He then got interested when they talked about a child and food. "You need to find food? I heard some skittering below the floorboards here earlier. Maybe whatever's down there can be used to lure the child out?" He asked. He hadn't been paying attention to the conversation until now, but he felt like he could help out.

Taige didn't let his mouth burn as the tail lit on fire again. Growing bored of this little game and his wild instincts still in overdrive, he decided to try to end this little game, with or without the mouse falling to him. Taige observed where the rat was going, and created a gust of wind to where they would be going to stop them again. He then brought his claws down to the rat, as fast as the wind to hopefully either end this or get the other to stop.

Taige soon saw what he had hit: It was a mouse. He had found the mouse, and he licked his lips. He did get hit by the fire tail, but he made wind gust on him to extinguish the flames. He simply snapped his jaws at the mouse, hoping to catch it in his mouth.

Taige saw something jump out at him from the side of his eyesight. Reactively, he sent out a gust of wind at the thing flying at him, hoping to stop it in his tracks and let him get his bearings again.

Taige got closer and closer to the scent he had found before. It was a smell that sent his taste buds into overdrive. He licked his lips again at the thought of eating the mouse. He did hear the crunching of leaves when he got to a tree, meaning that he was close enough to the mouse, presumably. He remained quiet as he roamed around the tree, using his nose to follow where the scent went.

As Taige kept his eyes on the road, he eventually caught the scent and sounds of mice. His body immediately perked up once he realized what it was. He licked his lips, predatory instincts kicking in as he hopped off the tree he was on and began to pick up the trail of where the mice were. Because this was instincts, he wasn't realizing what he was doing as he got low onto the ground and began to move quietly to where he heard the sound, hoping it could be something good.

Taige was currently lying down on a tree branch, looking down at what was a path that others walked quite a bit. Lately, things had been happening that he didn't know the answer to, mostly with himself. He had a lot of thoughts in his head on what he should be and where he should go. Since something that he had looming over him in the past was now back, so he needed to find an answer soon. But he was having troubles with that, which is why he was waiting for someone to show up: So he can try to bounce ideas off them to help himself.

Taige didn't butt in when it came to making the fire because his paws weren't the best with fire. That and the snake seemed to be fine with this. When the fire did light up, he was able to see about the same as before, but now things had a bit more color to them. "I see. Well, it's nice to meet you two. As for me, my name is Taige. I've sort of been just wandering around this land my myself for a while." He said.

Taige had run off to where he found some wood and paper to use for this. He collected what he could into a sheet that he could drag along with him. It was pretty full of wood, paper, and books they could use. He did struggle to bring it back, but he was able to. "Here's what I found." He said. Taige then saw the new face. "Hello. Who are you?" He asked.
