"Who am I? Where am I? What is this place?"
These questions ran through the light brown haired adult's head as he opened his eyes. The peircing white light blinded him and he covered his eyes with a sleeved arm which resulted in him wincing in pain. He didn't understand why, but he couldn't remember anything of his life before he came to. He couldn't remember his name, his profession, or if he even had a family at all. He slowly lifted his arm and his eyes slowly adjusted to the light. The first thing he saw was a cloudy grey. He slowly sat up and looked around, trying to get a bearing on his sorroundings. The brown haired man was suprised to find himself in a forest. A cool breeze rippled through the air. It was quite pleasant.
The man looked down at himself and found he was wearing a rather expensive looking designer jacket. It was black with dark grey linings and there was a soft material underneath. There was a dark grey sleeveless shirt underneath and he was wearing blue jeans and white sneakers. There were several things off with this picture. First, he had splotches of dried blood on his jacket and undershirt. Second, he had torn holes in said pieces of clothing. He was covered in dirt as well. He must have taken a beating before he ended up wherever this place is, and he barely came out of it alive. The man had no idea who beat him up in the first place. He felt around his pockets for any sort of IDs that might identify him. He pulled out his wallet and pulled out it's contents. So far, he found 500 dollars in cash, 5000 Yen, several credit cards and a driver's license with his face on it. The name that was given was David Clarke. He didn't know if this was his real name and thought it must have been an alias. It was going to be his name from now on though. He even pulled put a military ID that confirmed it as well. He out everything back into his pockets and his hand hit something on his waist. He looked down and found it was a holster. It carried a fully loaded gun. He had no idea how he knew it was fully loaded, only that it was and he had loaded it recently. He pulled out the weapon and checked it just in case. It was a dark grey almost black Heckler and Koch USP chambered for .357 SIG amunition. With this information, the man concluded that he must have been involved in a dangerous profession. One that must have involved killing and assassination. And a lot of it. Or he could have been a normal civi that bought a gun with a dream of living his spy movie fantasies. Oh well.
The man holstered his weapon and made sure to conceal it. He didn't want to cause a panic and be arrested. He decided to assume the identity of David Clarke until he recovered his memories and before that, he needed fresh clothes. So, David made sure he was as presentable as possible and set off to find civilization. Maybe find a local and get as much information as he can about this place out of him/her.
