Something shifted in reality as the world opened up with the finish of that sutra, and something impossible opened for a moment before the Paladin could even perceive anything beyond the flash of white it was gone along with Kishar. Seconds passed by and Nergui felt herself tense in preparation for whatever her opponent had planned but was perhaps not entirely prepared for the wave of energy that pushed out with Kishar's return, sheltron flaring up for a moment as the wave passed and negating the whatever damage could be done. What had graced this realm with its presence was a goliath unlike any she had seen before with a grossly incandescent presence likened to that of the sun itself. In each hand it held an object, some she was not sure how they would be useful for combat but if it was in this thing's hand then there was no doubt of the power each weapon held.
Nergui had seen many terrible things in her long life from the Cloud of Darkness in all her terrible glory, the ascians and pieces of Zodiark as they attempted to drown her world, Xande and the almost-return of the Allagan empire, and most of all the revival of King Thordan as a primal god. The memories of those traumas flooded her mind and nearly shook her will but Nergui was nothing if not perseverance made mortal and instead dug her toes into the ground, "You're really something else..." she bit down on her tongue while being propelled forward by a quick surge of power, 'Bulwark' and 'Tempered Will' activating to increase her ability to successfully block attacks while negating any incoming knockbacks, stuns or binds being sent her way. As Nergui approached the titan her sword became wreathed with the glow of aether as she activated 'Spirits Within' to call forth all of her power into a single strike aimed for her opponent's mid-section, a powerful slash from arm to arm.

I grinned as I looked down towards my enemy, preparing for her attack by enhancing my reflexes even further with the essence of the five dragons, my powers simultaneously maintaining abilities from all three stages of the Perfected Lotus. "And you are quite interesting as well, my rather steadfast guest," I said, responding to her comment as she charged at me, her attack seeming to flow at me in slow motion. It was indeed quite the impressively powerful attack, but compared to her attacks before when she was wearing the lighter armor they were nothing quite lethally fast. Not only that, but I had vastly improved my base abilities by leaving behind my flesh and instead taking up a different form, a more ideal form. And as a result of this...her attack simply failed to be dangerous to me. I brought my fist around and smashed the flat of the blade, a peal of thunderous phantom thunder came off of the blade along with a bright flash of noontime light. As such, her attack was thrown off course and it left me free to move just a bit to make sure that it was no longer going to be any threat to me.
Taking advantage of the opening presented to me by what should more than likely thrown her off balance due to her powerful strike not finding it's target, I disappeared and reappeared a good distance back from my position before stomping on the ground and bringing all four of my arms together, shouting a kiai as I did so. As I did that, it seemed as if a a giant mirror of blackened glass 100 meters across would appear above Nergui before the spear flew from my hand and instantly shattered it, causing a forceful rain of obsidian shards of glass upon her, the mirror creating a much thicker rain of shards than what it seemed was even possible. Whats more was that not only would they fall upon Nergui herself, but they would strike the reflections in the ground around her, striking at her with even more hits than normal, their already armor reducing properties being magnified by the mirror striking. "Come now, show me your resolve, Nergui! I know that wasn't enough to incapacitate you!" I said, waiting for her form to come charging out of the rain of shards that were dropping down upon the area she was in.

Her body twisted awkwardly as her opponent so simply swept away the blade as if it was some trifling small thing that was of no matter to her, the aura surrounding it shattering as she was halted and forced onto the backfoot. The fact that the attack had missed wasn't in fact that much of a surprise as her current class was weak when it came to overall attack but more than made up for it in defense which was a fact she would thank the Dusk Mother for later as a blackened surface coated the sky, covering it for further than she could easily clear in a small amount of time and if Nergui was to be honest with herself it was likely going to end with her eviscerated by a thousand points. What defense was there against this unstoppable force? None were permanent and her tricks could only work so many times before they needed time to cooldown or recharge. A fatal weakness that had seldom before been used against her.
As the shards fell her blade would impale itself into the ground, a serenity passing over a small area surrounding her no more than 10 meters in each direction as the earth lit up with a brilliant light. 'Hallowed Ground' consecrated the earth near Nergui with the power of her oaths and focused them all into a single defensive wall for herself only. Even as the shards fell and impacted against her back they would burst away into aetheric light as the oath did it's duty. It was not a move that would last forever nor was it one she would be able to use again soon but it would do for protecting her from this terrible attack and hopefully when Kishar went for the kill it would be with something a tad less lethal.

As expected, as the shards cleared my sparring partner emerged completely unscathed from the attack. I could have very easily done it again to see if her defense would hold up against it, but instead I was going to do something else. The arm which my phylactery was sitting, wreathed in golden light around it's malfean brass, was pointed directly at her and I spoke, the gauntlet whirring and the inset Vortex glowing with a high intensity as I did so. "Unleash the Kraken, oh spirits of earth and fire!" I yelled, my voice booming throughout the area as red strands of essence, seemingly burning with the red hot magma of the hottest volcanoes of the south lanced into the ground surrounding my opponent, causing the ground to rumble ominously for a brief time before ten fifteen meter tall tentacles of lava rose up in a circle around her, lashing out at her one by one as they found the enemy in their midst, and all of them attacked in random, unpredictable patterns. Their strikes were not nearly as well coordinated as my own, but they were made of lava and were much larger. That would indeed be enough to press her hard and make her distracted, which is what I wanted right now. It was time to end this, I didn't want to press too much more heavily on my reserves of Essence nor did I want to push her wounds too much further.
If she did not manage to break free of the encirclement and stop me, I would summon a large mirror in front of me with the same power that I had rendered our fighting area reflective with. Naturally her reflection was in the mirror thanks to the effect that I had used, and with a quick infusion of power into my strike, I made to end this with a learning experience. The strike I was launching was extremely powerful, but it would not deal extremely severe damage to her beyond being able to knock her unconscious if it dealt a serious enough blow. In the time she would spend unconscious after the strike, she would have her mind go through the fight over and over, especially focusing on her mistakes and the final blow I was about to inflict. It would let her re-sculpt herself and make her a more experienced fighter, learning from her experience fighting me and becoming better for it. If interrupted, I would simply defend myself and try my best to land the hit personally rather than through the mirror.

It bad been a few months since Nergui had had her first run-in with the Kraken and it's many large tentacles it had used to break apart ships and crush opponents flat and it seemed that Kishar was bent on making her relive that more annoying that honestly dangerous fight with a sadistic twist as the tentacles that sprouted out of the ground around here were made of lava and a palpable heat coiled around her little sanctuary as it collapsed. She knew this was likely a distraction but getting hit by a single one of these would likely be as bad as taking a hit from Kishar herself so Nergui did all she could with what she had left. 'Rampart' activated once again and caused the blows to become less severe but more importantly she allowed her full power to express itself for a moment.
'Last Bastion' was an ability that could only be used so rarely and was often saved for the most dire of situations and as it just so happened Nergui was out of ways to defend or dodge the damage that was to come so the walls tore their way from the ground and surrounded the xaela in a small ethereal circle, the tentacles would still pass through and be capable of hitting her but their damage would be greatly reduced and along with her shield being held overhead much of the damage that was to come was easily negated. Of course as she had predicted the 'kraken' was merely a ruse as the echo pulled her back towards the direction of Kishar as something charged, shield bearing down in time to catch whatever it was before being lifted off of her feet and thrown back from the bastion.
The shield had proven all but useless at stopping the attack from connection as first the airs were pushed from her lungs, white infiltrating the corner of her eyes before being rocked back a good distance. It was far from being lethal but the sheer force of it had knocked something loose in her, previous injuries making it nigh impossible to stand as the magic holding her together faded and with it so did her consciousness. Falling into the charm her opponent had implanted for her to relive the fight that had just taken place over and over, forced to relive her wasteful usage of resource and incorrect guessing of which class would be useful when. If she were lucky enough to live through this with no long-term damage it would force Nergui to face her mistakes in battle and the cockiness she often went in with.
