Female

16 Years
AFFILIATION:
N/A - Lives in Sanctuary
RACE / SPECIES:
Human

APPEARANCE:
Faye is your average girl of a standard height and weight. She has a delicate frame, built more for a performer or dancer rather than a muscular athlete. Her hair is naturally chocolate brown, thick, and slightly wavy. Dark amber eyes compliment the color of her hair. Typically, she wears her preferred casual wear of loose jeans, capris, or cargo pants, a tank-top or tighter blouse, topped with a comfortable hoodie. Her choice of shoes include either standard flats, or converse-style sneakers. She rarely wears makeup, finding it tedious to put on, only to eventually have to clean it off.
PERSONALITY:
Faye is an individual who seems very spontaneous and outgoing upon first impressions. She is passionate and imaginative, with a charming behavior around others. Always extremely curious and eager to please, she attempts to be friendly to everyone she meets, and offer help when she can. She lives in a colorful world, in the present moment, and attempts to not allow anything to bother her too much. Keyword, ‘attempts’. Should one pound on a trigger, she can lose her temper in a spectacular fashion, surprising those who generally see her as a calm young lady. She is very sensitive and empathetic towards others, and does her best to keep a smile and lighten the mood with a joke, compliment, or mild teasing.
Unfortunately, she is extremely unpredictable, and should one finally ‘ruffle her feathers’, she can take quite a passive aggressive turn. She prefers fight over flight, though not in the more violent ways one would expect. On top of this, she is quite competitive, possibly overly so, though not so much on the outside. At times, that warm smile can mask what she is truly feeling, making her hard to read. She is a huge risk-taker overall and often rebels against anything considered "normal", "ordinary", or "unimportant", or general rules that she finds tedious and not worth respecting. Overall, she is a cheerful little snowflake, and fiercely independent, hiding the flaws of being easily stressed, emotional, with fluctuating confidence underneath an energetic appearance.
STRENGTHS:
Creative ♦ Faye is an artistic and passionate teen girl, with a love for the arts and anything creative. She knows how to creatively solve problems, and skillfully get out of a bind.
Optimistic ♦ Cheerful almost to a fault, Faye displays a fearless optimistic and a warm smile at all times, to the point of even covering up any doubts or negative emotions at times.
Keen Senses ♦ From hypersensitivity, Faye has heightened senses that normal people typically don't acknowledge or possess.
WEAKNESSES:
Fight Over Flight ♦ When it comes to the option of moving forward and attacking or fleeing, Faye chooses to fight. Unfortunately, this sometimes is not appropriate in all situations, leading her to eventually degenerate or be crushed by her opponent.
Hypersensitive ♦ Faye has increased sensitivity, mentally, emotionally, and physically. Sounds that might not be heard by others are loud to her, while a light tap can feel like a heavy blow, or a petty argument seem like a big deal, etc.
Recalcitrant ♦ Except for the very few that she has respect for, Faye is an extremely stubborn and headstrong young girl, who often rebels openly against systems and higher-ups. Naturally, this leads to consequences and trouble, as one might expect.
HISTORY:
Faye Irwin was born with as an only child on a fresh December day in Sanctuary, the third, and last child of her two parents. Her mother died when she was young, leaving her to be raised by her father and older brothers. However, her two brothers moved out of the house when she was young- one at a university, the other simply moving far away to live on his own. She was the only kid in her small ‘household’ left. Her father worked full time, though despite having no wife to help raise his last child, he doted on her as much as he could, and tried to give her the time and attention she required. Unfortunately, pulling well over fifty hours a week did not give her enough of that.
An attention-deprived kid typically would turn to other sources to gather the much-needed attentiveness and affection they required. Luckily, Faye was fortunate enough to be weaseled into a rather generous circle of friends, and quickly took a liking to one particular friend in her childhood, who was roughly her age, though could easily be seen as an older brother who looked out for her. Tristan was his name, and the group she had grown to know as closer than her own family included Tate Perez, Iris Marchione, and Cole Bryndis, among a few others.
She continues to attend Neon Lake High School; however, upon the discovery of the Rifts, has begun doing as much brave adventuring as she can in her free time.
