Shadow Walked forward at a pace which he thought Einaku could keep up at. Unless there was a reason to stop or the others started lagging, he intended to keep going at a steady pace. Despite the chaos here, there would not be many obstacles in the way, just the distance unless the terrain had changed elsewhere.
If Einaku was not here, brush would have reverted back to dragon form for ease of travel. She thought it might be easier on him if not everyone was quadrupedal. Even though the idea was to tell stories, she again ended up lapsing into silence. Though she was often in a creative enough mood to share, and her adventures with the tribe gave her plenty of fodder for a good tale or two, at the moment she struggled to think of anything she wanted to tell about. If given a prompt she might oblige, there were probably some events she could tell about that even rose had not heard of before.

Rose glanced over everything and then her companions, humming softly. "Well, according to Air Dragon custom, the visitor usually starts with a story of where they have come from..." She blinked softly. "Or a story from their homeland, like a fable or a legend. It usually means that the hosts can get a good judge of stories their visitor might not have heard without asking excessively. Someone that knows of human fables and tells one, for instance, has probably heard the Tortoise and the Hare, and The Story of the Bat... but would not have heard the Legend of Oak Leaf that Laughs at Rain." She smiled softly, relaxing a bit more as they walked, necklace gently hitting her chest with every step.
"So Einaku... If you have any story to share... We should be excited to hear it." Stories were always preferable to silence, and Rose was interested in their visitor, even if the dragons' moral was low.

"Well," Einaku began, "there was that one time my pack found a spacecraft the size of a small moon. Oddly enough, there was another pack of Avali that were in charge of it, and how we got there was a little awkward. Should I start with how I originally discovered this ship, or should I start at the point where my pack arrived there, one by one? The latter would be a bit easier on me, as the former brings up some bad memories."

"Then whichever is easier for you." Rose smiled softly and warmly. Her tail flicked, and she kept her head slightly turned toward his side, though the pupils hidden within her black eyes moved about. She was scanning their surroundings. It was not too quiet here, the birds still singing faintly. They had recovered themselves from their upset earlier.
She felt Thorn awake, and her shadow under her gave a movement that did not mirror her own and then settled as it should. A new creature? Einaku. He is an alien, and apparently crashed form the sky when the dimensions were open to one another. It is unclear if he is from farther in our universe or an alternate universe. He's very friendly, if insistent. I do not think he will stay long. He wishes to fix his ship and leave. I understand. And we are journeying to find a new home. We are going to stay awhile at Black's place. We believe it is abandoned. It is somewhere safe to shelter. Shadow and I could easily protect--No.
Rose returned her full attention to Einaku, ready for a story. She kept her head slightly cocked toward him.
