Yukirin clenched her teeth as Beleth had Jin's body enveloped by the strange 'things'- the nanobots. Yellow eyes glared daggers full of hatred at the other demon, who insisted that she had no right to her prey. What a joke.
"Again, what have you to offer me?" the Kitsune asked. She was the one to have hunted him down, and fought him. While it had been an easy and fun battle, she still had been the one to put at least some effort into it all. Who was this person to try to steal away her prize?
Before she could speak further, the nanobots healed Jin, who sprung up and once again, viciously tried to attack the fox. Surprisingly, his speed seemed much faster than before, and the determination just as strong. His six bullets successfully penetrated her arm, making her cringe and hiss in pain as she refused to cry out. As his knee came towards her stomach, the Youkai began to shapeshift once again, moving to her preferred form of a large, dark-furred fox, roughly as tall as any grown man at the shoulder. His knee would meet her, but mainly at the jaws- where she tried to grab onto him and throw him aside. If he were out of the way, she would attempt to approach Beleth again, ready to continue their negotiation.
"What will you give me in turn for the life of this mortal? Power? Souls? Pay up, and he's yours," the giant canine would state with a small snarl on her muzzle as she waved her tail back and forth in agitation. Should Jin attack her again, she would be prepared. Hopefully, the other demon would make a decent offer, and behave in a civil manner, agreeing to honorably take the prey off of her hands in the proper way. She would have no toleration for thieves.

Would it be a wise decision to leave yourself to the mercy of yet another demon when you can’t even hold a candle to another? There is an obvious answer to that. So the decision that Jin made shortly after gaining some strange new abilities was the logical one: He needed to get away. Sure, he gained some mysterious abilities that for a moment allowed him to push Yukirin back. But that’s all he could achieve. Meanwhile, she had been toying with him for the entirety of their conflict. It would not be wise to mess with her when things were so ambiguous. He needed a diversion though, a way. He couldn’t just move from one plane of existence to another. ”First, I need to run away from her, then I’ll find a way to get back”; he concluded his decision. Just when he was about to run away though, a gigantic portal of sorts opened. Foot steps could be heard for miles as the huge numbers from a different plane of existence began pouring in, into Necropolis. That was the diversion he needed. Not wasting a single moment, Jin dashed with all the desperation and might he could muster. Not the most courageous decision of his life but one he would live to regret for the very least. While the two demons were conversing or doing whatever they needed to; he used all his might to get away from their battle. He wouldn’t be able to move under normal circumstances, but thanks to the newly gained abilities; he was running faster than he would be normally. Somehow, he could even sense where the portal was and where he needed to be to move away from this plane. As the leader of the demonic forces made her entrance to the Necropolis plane of existence; Jin was nearby, hiding behind a large structure. Waiting for his opportunity, to dash through the horde of demons. Thinking that he might miss, the opportunity and the portal may close. He decided to take yet another desperate action. Hoping that he had put quite a bit of distance between himself and Yukirin, he was now close to the portal. Jin climbed on top of the structure he was hiding behind and then, he jumped on to the numbers of demons. Leaping on from one to another, he jumped on top of them. He was an expert hand to hand combat specialist, so being quick on his feet came naturally to him. Maintaining his balance, he swiftly moved on top of the demons and jumped through the portal; hoping that it would take him away from the hell he had come across. Maybe someday he would be able to use the abilities that he had gained through this ordeal but for now, he would be content if he simply survived and lived to tell the tale. Not the most heroic of deeds but he needed to survive and this was his only option. [Exit]

Ah.... it was over... almost. The gold was about to rain down on him, as that woman hoped to crush and destroy, and take his life. It was fun to watch her put so much into an attack, only for him to hit a button on a wristband. It was new technology, using a bit of energy harnessed and taken from magical beings they had obtained. Its sole purpose was to create a forcefield to deflect anything physical; not energy attacks, but it could save a person from debris, bullets, swords and blades, or the like. In this case, the gold, despite all the force it was given, enough to leave a crater in the earth, would simply go around the forcefield, like lightning would go around metal. The crater would be left next to him, while he himself was untouched.
The technology of Sanctuary was not to be underestimated.
But now, she was finally gone. Blake Acciaio gazed up at the darkened skies, and the hordes of demons fleeing, following their new leader. It seemed that that their test subject and experiment had at least somewhat helped them. In the end, Sanctuary held the victory, surely. Still, he was smart enough to know that she would likely one day return for revenge. And in the future, she would have an army.
Well, it was no matter. They had captured her once. They could do it again; he had faith in the hard work they had put effort into for centuries. And another good thing came of this war; the leader of the annoying resistance, Feya, had been killed by the demon king. How would Eden fare without her? He could only hope that they would scatter, and eventually disband.
The Sanctuary Authority Director took another sip of his tea, and gazed at the mass of slaughtered demons at his feet. "Somebody clean up this mess," he ordered in a low grumble to his nearby subordinates. They would have a lot to do in order to rebuild the city. "Round up the civilians who are injured, and get them to safety. I need all Enforcers to be on top of the mind correction-- nobody should remember the details. This will be a disaster in their minds; no more."
