❖ MALIK YOUNG
Malik had not slept well, but he did not have the leisure to hang around at such an odd hour. He wanted to head home, and maybe get another hour of proper rest before the clock struck the hour he'd normally need to rise to prepare for work. Cautiously he got up. He opened the door to the back room a crack, hoping to retrieve his button down shirt. Hopefully the bats had not nested in it or anything.
The back room certainly seemed more quiet than it had been before. He reached in to pull out the shirt. He couldn't see any bats out where they would be easy to spot, thankfully.
He closed the door, before shaking out the shirt, and putting it on.
"you're leaving too, man?" Tex complained groggily. With no one bothering to talk, be too had sort of dozed off at some point during the night.
"yeah." Malik answered. "I should try and get back while the weather allows. Thank's for the shelter. you be careful when you go home yourself." he added, anticipating a potential future comment from Tex.
Then He too was out the door, carefully walking to avoid the deep puddles, setting a brisk pace towards home.
