Jessie stepped back, surprised and repulsed but refused to get too far away from her canine companion. She wished she had put him on a leash now, not for his sake, but so she would not feel like there was a chance to get separated.
The canine on the other hand lunged forward without hesitation, heavy jaws snapping at the limb to crush it, and hopefully ruin its functionality in one swift powerful bite.

Loner。 The reaching hand squelched as a large hunk of it was torn off, but the remaining portion quickly reformed. It wasted no time encircling the girl's waist, dragging her towards the "doorway". There were no illusions this time. Worse still, something acidic was making short work of her clothes wherever the meat-hand touched, as well as swiftly devouring the skin & muscles beneath. The level of pain would be incredible. The piece that Cloak had torn off turned on the beast, quickly wrapping around the mutt's jaw and began to spread across its head. The stench of sulfur & rotten meat would become prevalent in the dog's nostrils, as well as the sensation of its skin burning. A screech pierced the whispering voices and background noises, and something blacker than the darkest night lashed out at the "hand", surrounding it and tearing it away. Curses were spoken in a tongue that rattled the brain to hear, and something landed lithely between the monster and the girl. More darkness, and the space beyond the wall quickly vacated. It* turned.
The girl hissed disapprovingly at the ruined mess that her plan had become, as Jessie slowly slipped into deadly shock. She didn't know that shoggoth was in here -- must've sneaked in one night while she was hunting. That would have to be dealt with in short order, but right now, it was best to keep the girl-child from Long Sleep. The mutt was not worth saving; it was likely already dead from the blob!beast's voracious appetite. Turning back to the other girl, she squatted next to her. It* spoke through her: "Now now. No going sleepy on us. You might still be usable. Pity, for you, that -- might wish you just died. No matter -- always need fresh minds and hands to serve the Serpent.
"Just lie still. The pain will pass soon..."She opened her mouth, wider. wider. wider. tHIN gS strETCh D f OrTh froM.ThAt.MoUTH. . darknES S Layb eYo#Nd%

(careful about powerplaying, though it probably wouldn't have changed anything this time)
Jessie fought, pulling back against the hand, and trying to get its burning tendrils off of her with her hands. That didn't seem to give any help at getting free. She glanced at cloak seeking his help, but the canine had his own problems.
At the taste of the horrid flesh, cloak did not hold tight to the piece he had torn but let go as if having tasted a hot coal. As it tried to grab onto him, he pulled sharply away, but the burning flesh was already entangled with his maw. He brought his head down, using his foreclaws to tear at the parasitic blob, fighting to get it off him, not so that he might be free, but that so he could get Jessie out of here, his newest priority.
Images flashed before Jessie's eyes.
A coffin, closed because the body inside had been so mangled it was not suitable for public view. A Name etched in battered metal, exchanging hands. A boy, his skull bashed in, limp in a putrid smelling summer wasteland. Fighting. A large high tech city in the distance, looming up, and with it a sense of hope.
For the moment Jessie couldn't feel the pain. Despite the heavy physical damage she had taken, of which she was vaguely still aware, Jessie wanted to survive.
The sensation at her corroded fingertips wasn't just the lack of full length fingers. She reached for it, hand clasping around a smooth plastic cylinder.
The flashlight!
She turned it on shining it at the shadow creature on a bet that she'd be weak to the light, but she could not afford to remain still enough to check.
Operating almost completely on adrenaline and instinct, she picked up cloak, who weighed almost as much as if not more than she, and ran.

"AAAAH, BUGGER!!"
A stream of curses came from the withered girl as she clutched at her eyes, temporarily blinded by the sudden illumination. She spat and swore herself into an incomprehensible storm as her prey got away. Again!
No, not again. Not like last time. This one... With a snarl, the fiendish female whirled around and stretched one hand at the retreating footsteps, hand curled in a claw-like fashion.
The very air around Jessie would seem to congeal, turning almost solid around her. Her motions would slow to a crawl as though her body had gained several hundred pounds, taking considerable effort to get one foot in front of the other -- only slightly less to continue breathe normally. Shadows crept at the edges of her vision. At the same time, her "exit" would seem to be getting further away.
And one very irate cultist was stalking towards her.
"Clever little rat, isnnit? But we're not done here, no no nonono. Maybe you be more use outside than in. You and your little doggie too, yessss!" She giggled at that, almost breaking out in a skip as she edged closer.

No no no
No illusions no fakes. Reality couldn't be acting like this. Things weren't supposed to follow the laws of a dream. Jessie had to keep hoping, keep hoping that it could stop. The adrenaline gave some clarity, providing a feral awareness, and giving Jessie some energy to push forwards despite the odds, but it truly wasn't enough.
When her stamina was depleted, the girl's vision went black, blood loss, and mental and physical exhaustion dragging her down more than any amount of fear in the end.
She could only hope that the wireless signal from the watch, and the readings it had gathered, (vitals, photos, supernatural activity, her location) had been strong enough to call for help in the end.

It wasn't long after that Maggy returned, carrying the limp forms of both girl and mutt with unnatural ease. By now the handmaidens had cleaned the floor and tucked away the absently-tossed food. It actually looked like a passable living space.
Several mats had been dragged out, onto which Maggy unceremoniously dropped the the two bodies, one of which looked badly hurt. Shuffling over to the fridge, she tippy-toed to reach the Twinkies; it didn't take half a second to recognize that there was at least one missing -- and it didn't take much to figure out where it would have gone.
Where had that little shit gotten to anyhow?
She also noticed the dented door; growls emanated from behind it as she approached. Cracking open the door, Maggy muttered sweet nothings to whatever was beyond, eliciting several weird noises from the thing before retreating. That seemed to calm the beast down from its frenzy earlier.
After munching some food to bolster her energy, Maggy turned her attention to the girl and her dog. Killing her hadn't been part of the plan, and both seemed tougher to her manipulations than the average yokel. With Doppler not around, maybe she could actually get something useful done for a change. Frankly she would be shocked if she let him survive the rest of the week at this rate, what with his constant bitching in her ears about one "problem" or another.
The girl, though... Something could be done with her yet. She might have some use, if she could be spared the big sleep. It wasn't going to be simple, though; Maggy needed to tap into her master's knowledge to do so, which was a rabbit hole in its own right. Plus, genetics be hard, y'all. All that combined would be at least a day or two to get right.
