The entries on the angels, while not necessarily huge, is completely optional reading if you want to know more on the angels and their home. Below, you'll get the bare minimum information needed to understand whom they are and what they stand for. Important Background Information- The angels of Empyrea are beings of light, sound, and energy whose powers reflect that.
- The angels of Empyrea are diametrically opposed to the dark forces of the universe, most often found in Necropolis.
- Most Empyreans live within their heavenly realm, and those that do are more than likely under the jurisdiction of the higher angels.
- The hierarchy goes as such, from least to greatest rank - Messengers, Archangels (Ophanim, Cherubim, Seraphim), and the Empyrean Lords. Above them is the Elder, whom is more akin to a god than an angel.
- While their power levels rise as you ascend through the ranks, even lesser angels are very powerful on average.
Important Current Information- The Empyreans have emerged once more for the first time in over two thousand years, following the war with Necropolis.
- They have a presence in most of the places on Earth, though their existence has largely fallen into forgotten myth.
- The Empyrean Lords are divided among themselves, and angels fight one another. No one knows why.
- The new Necropolis Queen has caused an uproar within their ranks, and many are calling for a truce among themselves to deal with the issue.
- With the deposition of the Necropolis Queen, and the institution of the Necropolis King, the angels are now in a state of martial law and plan to enact regular attacks on all demonic scourges on the mortal plane.

Amitiel Empyrean Angel | Ageless // Sexless // neutral Good "I was created, not born. What is my purpose if I serve no clear function?" General Information Amitiel is an Empyrean Angel. Their date of birth is unknown, but it is assumed to be nearing primordial. Their gender and sex are not binary - being an energy being, they were created with neither. This is part of their identity, as Amitiel is a shapeshifter whom constantly changes faces. Personality Amitiel is a rather complex creature, as per the nature of their creation. In battle, they are a powerful, calculating, surgical, and unfeeling angelic being who knows no morality. Results are their modus operandi, and they will go to great lengths to achieve the goals they so desire. Outside of battle, however, Amitiel shows their lack of understanding when it comes to normal life. Barely capable of cooking or cleaning, they live in a home out of sheer luck and the kindness of a woman who understood what they were and the displacement they feel. They can be very kind, but show their lack of social skills in very blunt, sometimes cruel, responses to people. Amitiel's past is unknown, but it is stated by them that they had "brethren" whom they loved dearly. Having been displaced from their home, Amitiel longs for someone to follow. Freedom is not something Amitiel is familiar with; all of their kind were created to be efficient servants and children of the higher power that made them. As such, Amitiel searches for something or someone to be their leader, offering the power of a celestial angel in exchange for a clear purpose. Created to serve a higher power, Amitiel presents themselves as very respectful of authority. They will not challenge the words of those whom are in charge, even when they are sure of that those words are incorrect. This respect comes in degrees of relativity - the higher up a person is when dealing with an establishment, the more respect they deserve. Amitiel are a being of great knowledge and wisdom on the inner workings of various cosmic dealings. They were imbued with the ability to perceive the "true reality" of things around them, and have dealt in its works for eons. As such, many find that the angel possesses a preternatural sense of calm about most things. Appearance Amitiel is a shapeshifting energy being. As such, they have no clearly defined physical form, and opt to change into anything that makes sense to them. They have been a wide range of people and creatures over the small bit of time they've walked the Earth in flesh, doing so without any concern for whom it may or may not harm. Their true form is nothing short of that befitting a divine warrior: frightening and grandiose. They stand at more 20m in height, and possess six mighty, golden wings and arms, a body seemingly made from glowing, chiseled stone, and numerous adornments The middle of their chest glows with holy energy, housing their grace and cores. Atop their head is a giant halo, which glows a brilliant and - often fatal when weaponized - light. Affiliations
Amitiel is setting themselves up to become the Guardian Angel of Eokia. As such, their affiliation is to those lands and all things that call it their home. Abilities As an Empyrean Angel, there are a number of abilities that are inherent to Amitiel. However, the most well-known is the ability to shapeshift ones physical form to fit whatever they please. Powers are augmented when in ones Etheric form. The powers they possess naturally are detailed here. Beyond that, Amitiel is steadily practicing the ability to use other kinds of magic. - Matter Manipulation. The power to control things that have a state of matter, such as a solid, liquid, gas, and plasma. This one is one that takes precedence, as they want to increase their versatility; as such, Amitiel is more gifted at it.
- Astral Projection. The power to move through the astral planes without actually being there physically. This is mostly set to be a spying tool for Amitiel, but runs the risk of backfiring if any sufficiently powerful being catch them.
- Telepathy. The power to hear and communicate things via the mind. This ability is actually a lot harder than Amitiel first thought it would be, and as such they do not have a good mastery over it.
- Weather Manipulation. Something that happens as a by-product of their energies that seemed cool to weaponize. No real mastery, or even sizable aptitude, over it whatsoever.

The Corruption The Corruption is an energy scourge created by the spirit known as Magog, The Corruptor. It plants itself into the souls of mortal beings, changing them into energy-feeding puppets whose singular purpose is to extract power and make more of their kind. This plague is how the evil of Magog shows itself on the mortal plane. General Information The Corruption is a plague upon mortals, which takes hold of their soul and transforms them into what could only be described as something of an energy zombie or vampire. They lose control of their ability to hold onto their sanity, feeling an overwhelming, ever-increasing urge to drain the life force of other beings. Manifestation & Spreading All instances of The Corruption are spread through contact, with The Corrupted needing to be in physical contact of anything not Corrupted to spread its influence. When a Corruption latches onto their target, they will begin the process of transformation; it is described as the energies of both individuals seemingly warring before one eventually overtakes the other. Should the Corrupted win, the target will be successfully Corrupted, and the Corrupted that initiated it will gain strength. The "patient zero" of a Corruption manifestation is hard to identify right off the bat, as it always starts with a person coming into contact with the "seed" of a Corruption. Once they are infected, it will spread as they come into contact with more and more people. Infection The ailments and symptoms of Corruption are rather conspicuous - its adverse affects on both the body and soul can be felt. Those inflicted will have the urge to find and infect, and each feeding will degrade the mind. Those whom are Corrupted, but escape before the process is entirely complete, will usually be at Stage 0. If the process was lengthy (they weren't strong enough to break from the attacker), they will be sent directly to Stage 1, and sometimes even Stage 2. Resisting its influence is possible, but difficult. It gives the Corrupted a direct link to the energies of Magog, which will continuously tear at the mind and cause major issues. Weaker willed targets will usually submit immediately, while stronger ones can resist the pull for varying lengths of time - very rarely, indefinitely. Curing The curing of Corruption is difficult. Not in its solution, but the application of said solution. To put it very simply, powerful purging and healing magic is needed to do so. Those with clerical and medical abilities are capable of expelling and erasing it from the body. However, the process is as intensive as it is personal, and even a single infected individual requires a great deal of energy. As the scourge progresses in ferocity through the body, the possibility of curing becomes less and less viable. Even still, at Stage 2, it is next to impossible for a single medic to do the job by themselves. The Corrupted The Corrupted refers to the individuals whom have been afflicted. These individuals go through stages of infection, which are progressed through with each feeding they have. The higher the stage, the more feedings it takes from the previous stage to progress. Stages - Stage 0: Visible indication of the scourge's presence is shown through glowing "veins" on the skin somewhere on the body. Resistance to the urge is easiest here, and curing the ailment is also easiest.
- Stage 1: The next stage comes immediately after a variable, but small, number of feedings or through lengthy contact with a Corrupted. The scourge shows more in the form of the veins beginning to cover the body, and the eyes changing to pure black. Resistance at this stage is much harder, and curing the ailment is moderately difficult.
- Stage 2: At this stage, the Corruption becomes invariably apparent. The skin changes color, taking on a grayish hue while the veins spread to the head and eyes. The eyes and the inside of the mouth glow with energy. Resistance is next to impossible, and curing is almost completely impossible as well.
- Stage 3: The penultimate stage. From here on, resistance and curing are completely impossible. There are very few third stage Corrupted that exist due to how new the scourge is.
- Stage 4: The final stage of all Corrupted. At this stage, their bodies become masses of black energy. It takes an extraordinary amount of feedings to get to this stage, but those who make it are granted extreme power.
Abilities & Weaknesses The abilities of the Corrupted are actually not very vast beyond increases to physical capabilities. They are strong, but not overwhelmingly so until they reach the latest stages. The power of a Corrupted increases with each stage beyond Stage 0, and is always in relativity to the base mortal whom was infected. - Abilities
- Increased physical strength.
- Increased hardiness and defensive capabilities. (Level 2 and on)
- Tirelessly and near infinite stamina.
- Increased speed.
- Corruption touch.
- Weaknesses
- Individually weaker at stages 2 and below.
- No powerful magical abilities granted beyond spreading the Corruption.
- Can be cured of their ailment.

Amitiel The hospitality displayed by the being she came across surprised her. Amitiel was half-expecting to have to fight for her life upon entering its - or rather, her - domain, but that didn't seem to be the case today.
"Oh. I see."
Upon finding out that she was the guardian of the lands Amitiel stood in, the latter very respectfully withdrew her wings. She wanted to show the woman that she meant no harm, and that while they were under her roof, the angel would respect any laws she might have in place.
Of course, part of that respect was not refusing something offered out of the kindness of another being's heart. It was almost an unspoken rule in the supernatural world that, should you go against hospitality offered to you, it is tantamount to a declaration of ill-intent. Thus, Amitiel took a seat.
"Yes, I would like some tea. Thank you," she responded. Next came the introductions. "My name is Amitiel. I am an Angel of the Empyrean Celestials. Thank you for allowing me into your home, Lady Guardian." Celestial Angel Neutral Good | Ageless | Genderless

OOC: I'm open to having Amitiel be attacked!Amitiel Amitiel made note of the male's appearance, piecing together easily that he was not human. It wasn't surprising, given the general populace.
However, the sight of the insectoid demon was enough to nearly make her spring into action. Mohanchor tried well enough to defend himself, only to be harmed in the process. Once again, she prepped herself to attack, ignoring his warnings to stay put.
"Are you oka-"
Then, she felt energy begin to course through him. Whether or not it was a second wind, or some defense mechanism, one thing was for certain: he was angry. Thus, she took a step back, allowing him to work.

Amitiel To find such an area in what Amitiel assumed was the middle of nowhere was surprising, to say the least. They were sure that they had covered all that Eokia had to offer. Of course, that was far from the truth, considering the size and nuance of the areas, but that thought never crossed their mind.
Taking a familiar form, one of a girl with brown hair and bronze skin, they flew through the areas of the forest. It was dense, and seemed to be largely undisturbed by civilization until she found that cottage sitting in the middle of everything.
Tilting her head, she made her way toward the open door. There was a presence within - something Amitiel did not recognize or understand. Normally, that would scare most creatures away; this celestial, however, was a being of boundless curiosity.
Entering the cottage, Amitiel called out to its inhabitant. "Hello? May I speak to the person who claims this territory?" Celestial Angel Neutral Good | Ageless | Genderless

Amitiel The energy of the demonic scourge was enough to grab Amitiel's attention. The normally very sessile celestial was stirred from their observations of the people in Eokia by the ripples in spacetime.
Sitting far above the skies, Amitiel had a bird's eye view of the activities below. It made things easier to survey, after all, as was Amitiel's role in the past. This invasive power was something that roused a very deep, very primal feeling of disgust in the normally passive being.
Amitiel wordlessly descended to Eokia, immediately taking a human form. It was a girl's physical form, with brown hair and bronze skin. The only things that remained were Amitiel's glowing blue eyes. Normally, that would give their identity away, but they had been a denizen of this land long enough to know that there were so many unusual creatures that their current form would not be an issue. No one would ask questions.
They - or she, in this case, had many. So, she made her way toward someone who seemed to know what they were doing - the first seeming to be Mohanchor.
"Excuse me, Mr. Guard," she waved to him. "Would you mind explaining to me what all of the commotion is about?" Celestial Angel Neutral Good | Ageless | Genderless
