Come out ye black and tans come out and fight me like a man! Sanctuary was the best and worst place to live. On one hand, there was the amazing and astonishing technological advancements and the friendliness of all who lived there. On the other, one wrong move and she could be killed.
Everyday was a gamble.
"Just need to get some things, and I'll be good!" Hun said to no one as she walked through the streets. What did she need...food mostly... Oh, a new knife maybe..? The one she currently had was getting dull and dull knives hurt. Maybe a new book! Books were always nice. There had to be a bookstore somewhere! ...How much money did she have again..? Almost none, right.
"...Maybe I can busk? No magic, right..." If she bought food, she'd have no money left, but if she didn't buy food, she'd starve.. This is why magical humans shouldn't secretly live in Sanctuary; it's hard.
Hun pulled out a small knife from her bag. Jumping was always an option. There were other places that were magic friendly, like Eden or Eokia! But it was midday; people were out and someone could see her. If the jump didn't work out she could be in a lot of trouble... "Hm. Be poor or be a criminal. My better judgement says "don't do this", but my impulse control says "it'd be fun if they saw you"..."
She quickly glanced around. Was there any officers around? Or better yet, did anyone notice the knife?

One person definitely did, though who's side she might be on was definitely not obvious, so it was probably better to assume the worst. The woman who was leaning against the wall of a building, wore no marks of the law, but was in a uniform of some sort. It looked like she was in retail, not high up on the social ladder, a cashier on break, most likely employed at the small store outside which she reclined. She wasn't young, most likely in her 30's or 40's. Her face was already lined with stress age or both, factors which also added a dulling to her once darker, thick curly hair. Even though she saw the knife she did not move to point it out to others nor confront the girl, yet eventually Hun would probably find that while looking around she made eye contact with the stranger.

Sanctuary was always a fun place, and was the home of many. Most people were ignorant to the existence of magic, which in a way, made it rather peaceful to the residents. Eden was not quite a place, as much as just a society within a society. And, at that, a society that she was a member of. Ecclesia loved the thrill of the chase, and the idea of usurping authority. Such a group, despite having many mortals among their rank, was entertaining enough for the Daemon who so loved the adventure and atmosphere.
The person mumbling to herself, holding a knife, however, did not go unnoticed by the blonde. Why was a civilian holding onto a dull knife? For fun or for show? It was suspicious, likely, to most, but intriguing to the Daemon. Her curiosity was always insatiable. The human appeared to be about her own physical age, if not a year or two younger. Hands in the pocket of her white skirt, Ecclesia began walking towards the person casually, taking relaxed strides towards her. She did not observe the older woman who was nearby, and only kept her focus on the brown haired and green eyed lady. "Fancy knife you have there - but I do wonder the reason why you're holding it out in the open. It's not the most... inviting... object in the world," the blonde commented, with a casual and amiable grin on her face before shrugging lightly. Who might this person be?

Come out ye black and tans come out and fight me like a man! In her glance around the crowd, Hun locked eyes with a...well, with another person. An official? Retail? Something. She was old, she had a uniform, and Hun definitely locked eyes with her. So she just gave the mystery woman a smile and a wave before being pulled into another conversation.
At least this girl seemed less sketchy. "Ah, thanks. This old thing is just aaaaa...comfort item. Belonged to my great grandfather, you see? And it was passed down to me.." She twirled the knife in her hand before placing it back in the bag. No jumping for her today.
"Probably shouldn't have pulled it out in public, you're right." She smiled, taking another glance at the woman leaned against the wall. Was she still staring? Please don't be staring. It was uncomfortable.
"Buuut come on, who'd be stupid enough to do anything dangerous?" Whoops that probably sounded suspicious. Fix it, fix it. "Certainly not me." Crap. "...I'm Hun." There we go. A name and a face. A suspicious person wouldn't give that so freely.
Hun held out her hand to shake, taking once final side glance at the other woman. Was she an official?? ...But there was no magic around, so she'd have no basis to arrest her! Ha! Suck it, government!

(you don't really have to tag me in a thread I have already replied to. I'll know when there's something to respond to in such threads. do tag me if you want me to see a thread which I have not replied to at all yet. thanks)
She wasn't watching anymore, at least not obviously watching, for the eye contact had never been intended to remain like a stare for long. The woman had not moved though. she'd lit a cigarette in the time she had not been watched, giving her another reason to be where she was at the moment rather than back inside or going somewhere. Her attention was across the street now, as she was casually watching someone else.
