Once upon a time, there was a dread necromancer. He was a man fond of things macabre and undead, partially because he was both of those things. Among one of his guilty pleasures was prowling in the Capital City of the goddamned techno-repressive regime of sanctuary, and unlike those peons in Eden, he had no desire nor wish to shy away from the deadly hold of the city.
Regardless, he was here, out in the widest park in the Capital City. It was desolate this night, which left him to his own devices, no doubt some sort of curfew was in effect, which meant every proper citizen was inside, sheltered in their little abode. No doubt scared of their own menial problems against mundane issues such as criminals, thugs and so on, but once again, that mattered little. Technology made things wonderful here, and he has come to reap its benefits by employing this... laptop on the park table. He was seated on a one-seater bench, as the moonless night hung overhead, with the only light source being the LED screen of said contraptions. Around him were pickets of trees, all of which surrounded the many paved paths in the field of green, one surrounded far ahead by buildings which illuminated the night sky, dulling out the stars overhead to non-existence.
He was currently going through this thing called the 'internet', which featured an assortment of things going from what these mortals call 'porn', all the way to the infinitely more useful database of all knowledge of the world, and it was just one click away. Right now, he was looking up this neat little thing called hacking, it was a bit tedious, but to him, he could memorise every single codes at a glance, in fact, it was not unlike memorising runes for specific functions, but as opposed to singular symbols, it were something far more complex, codes all of them to compose a single meaning from a myriad of text.
The ancient archon sighed, as he slacked back on his chair in brief boredom and maudlin, hoping for the life of him something exciting would happen. It was a stray thought, but what are the odds those thoughts would come true?
