Emptiness. That was the feeling the dirty blonde haired woman had when she was piloting the vehicle that was supposed to take her to another dimension. While she knew that she was going at terminal velocity, everything felt so slow. There was nothing but blackness. Blackness surrounded the female pilot and the only light was the blinking display in front of her eyes and the AI's hologram. The display panel chaimed and alerted her that she was going to reach the nearest dimension in 3.5 hours, but since everything's in pitch blackness, the female pilot had no visual or auditory ques to go off of. She decided to leave everything to the autopilot and leaned back into her seat. Might as well get some rest. Nothing's going to happen any time soon. She closed her eyes and fell into a deep sleep and almost immediately, the dreams came.
There was a dim light. It looked like she was in a large room underground and the only light was a single lightbulb hanging from the ceiling. Normally, her captors would leave the light off and keep her on complete darkness. It was to...test how long she can last before going insane. But,she wouldn't back down. She refused to give in. She would not be broken by these assholes who has killed her entire team. She was a Clarke. And Clarke's don't back down without a fight. The only problem was,is that Rebecca was chained to a wall. The only clothing she had was her torn black BDU and a torn, blood covered black top. She was also covered in scratches and bruises, and she almost died from being waterboarded. The men that did this to her,had promised worse to come and that she would soon break. She jerked out of her reverie when the sound of keys came closed and the door had opened. She dreaded this day but refused to let it show. Rebecca flexed and moved her weakened arms and legs trying to find a way out of the shackles, yet they didn't budge. The man came over to her and she attempted to struggle. The masked man wasn't having none of that shit apparently,as he had hit her hard enough on the head to knock her out. She was barely conscious when she was being moved to another area of the unknown territory, and she couldn't fight even if she wanted to. Rebecca passed out and later woke up on a cold silver table with a bright surgical light right in her face. "Wha-where? Where am I?" A disguised voice came from up above and too her right. It was a man. A tall one,And he was wearing medical equipment. The man sighed. "Do you really want to know Colonel? Very well. You are on the Marion. A top secret deep space vessel in the Galactic Confederation fleet. You are also deep in Confederation space. You are....alone." The man looked towards something Rebecca couldn't see and she attempted to struggle. "Now now, stop that. You are only going to make things worse for yourself." 3 more masked people approached the table and they had all kinds of deadly tools. Rebecca's breath hitched when she realized what was going to happen. "Ahhhh, you understand what's going to happen to you yes? Oh well, you should know this however. You are going to feel EVERYTHING because I'm not going to bother putting you under". Rebecca's eyes widened when the masked man picked up each knife and studied them. He selected one that looked like would cause the most pain and mentioned for two others to hold her down. She kept trying to resist and the man had lowered the large knife and it descended towards her flesh.
Rebecca jerked awake and looked around, startled. She was in her pilot suit, she was still a cyborg. There were only two things wrong with this picture. One,everything is going to shit and two, they were no longer in blackness anymore. Rebecca grinned and said,"Iona, I have a feeling we aren't in Kansas amymore." The AI uttered a sharp retort which Rebecca ignored. She was trying to keep the ship afloat while trying to avoid crashing into any buildings. "Damn it." Rebecca manages to bypass the tall skyscrapers but somehow she was trailing a ton of smoke. She must have been hit by an anti-aircraft gun. "Shit. Shit!" Rebecca spotted a forest where he could land without hurting anyone and made a beeline there. There was also a lake. Whoduthunk? She felt another large jolt and Iona alerted her to more failing systems. And it seems they had lost contact with Earth. Rebecca couldn't let the ship fly any longer and just let it fall. The ship crashed into the ground and with every bump and smaller crash, the pilot bumped around and nearly bit her tongue off. Thankfully her helmet was on,otherwise she would have already been dead. Everything came to a halt and Rebecca groaned. Iona informed calmly that the ship was going to blow in 2 minutes and that she needed to get out fast. Rebecca grabbed the data crystal chip that held the AI and put it into her utility belt and grabbed the shotgun that was stowed away in the ship. She had plenty of ammo as well. Rebecca grabbed all her essential equipment and made sure she had her handgun with her as well as a knife. She came to live here permanently after all. She opened the hatch to the ship and climbed out of the vehicle and ran like crazy. Rebecca counted down to the imminent explosion and just like that,it happened. A massive fireball erupted into view accompanied by a massive shockwave which Rebecca was promptly caught in. She was blasted away and she hit her head against a tree hard enough to knock her out. Ah well. She made it. She was alive.
