🌑 🌒 🌓 🌔 🌕 🌖 🌗 🌘 🌑
𝔊reetings everybody, ℑ am completely new to text-based roleplaying, but I have long wanted to try it. I used to play live action roleplay some years ago, and ever since I stopped, I have missed it. Unfortunately, my daily schedule is fairly busy, so it can be difficult to find the room for some LARP. Therefore I asked Google for some help and ended up at a RP directory page, and through that I found this page. My busy schedule may also mean a slightly low response rate; I hope you can accept that. 𝔖o... What else can I tell you? This will be my main (and for a while probably only) character. I will get around to making a biography, but for now it is getting late (where I live that is), and I have to get up early tomorrow. Also, despite what the title says, I do not think I classify as a 'kid' any longer; I am in my twenties.
𝔒ne more thing. As you may have noticed, I have been playing with the BBCode while writing this post. Does a guide for the coding exists? I have not yet looked too thoroughly at the various sub-forums and threads, so I may have missed a BBC guide as I looked around.

Hi there welcome to AR. I'm Loner, one of the members here. I've got quite a few characters so no matter what part of the site you choose to Rp at you're likely to see me around. I'm sure LARP takes quite a bit of time, something not all of us have. It may take a little adjustment to get in the flow of Text Rp but we're here to help you out. We're pretty free-pace here. You don't need to worry about posting slow. many of us are in the young adult and up age range so we're well aquainted with the force of life commitments. You can message me or Blair about any site questions you have. We'll try to get you a prompt answer. We don't have a guide on this site for the basic bb code as far as I know but our host server has the basics up here. www.proboards.com/forum-help-guide/bbcode Luckily our post editor has many code options built in as buttons. many are added right in the text where you hilight or where your cursor is. We do have a guide for some other post coding options. abstractreality.boards.net/thread/88/create-fancypost

Welcome to the site! It seems Loner has got you covered. ^.^ Indeed, many of us are adults and life always come before the internet and roleplay.
Lovely BBcode so far; I wish I could help you more there. A guide is a good idea, and we may work on one someday.
I look forward to plotting and roleplaying with you! If you have a question, please do not hesitate to PM me. (:

𝔗 hanks for the kind welcoming. I cannot wait to get started. By the way, I have to compliment the lay-out of this site. It is really easy on the eyes; a darker theme, while the text is still easy to see. Really nice! Loner, thanks for the link to the code guide. There are so many possibilities! I fear that I might end up using more time than one should on playing with the coding...

it is fun to play with all the variables sometimes. Many of us have code testing threads in the creation zone coding section where we save experimental formats. you also have the option to set a code as a default in your profile settings, useful for when you find what you like.
