Lucky walked and followed the robot until he began to smell animals and drugs. The drugs made him shudder, but he kept his cool and began to look for the room 78-H Large carnivores. If he couldn't right now, then he would find a random door to open and hide in.

It had to be a random door. Rooms were consistently lacking labels after all. Inside was split in half. Many computers and devices lined one wall. a set of cage bars ran across the middle. Inside a creature was pacing.
It looked like a massive sabre toothed cat, dark black with glowing orange spots. Long furless scars ran over its shoulder blades and down it's back. it's tail was feathered, as was the area around it's paws. It's eyes including the pupils were blue as though blind. a tag on the cage read 461-78
Ears swiveled as Lucky entered tracking sounds which were too quiet for humans and also fr many beasts to. track Knew it was not alone, but did not break from pacing.

Lucky saw the other creature in here and looked at the label tag. He was just 4 numbers off from where he hoped Shika was. That meant he was on the right track. Once the robot was gone, he looked around the room if there was anything else here. If not, then he would leave and try another door further in.

Though there was plenty to look at, it would not cough up importance unless examined more closely.
Choosing a different room was the best bet.
Even if counting the doors there was no way to tell before opening one of it was right or not. The numbering system of this place wasn't exactly conventional l
The room chosen had a similar layout to the previous one, part lab, but the cage was different, extending further back into what was clearly a larger sort of room. Pressed to the ground, curled up almost snake like was a large pile of orange fur. It did not budge when lucky came in.

Lucky saw the orange fur and walked in, hoping to find an identification tag on the cage somewhere and to get a better look at the figure inside.

The tag was in the same sort of place the other was. It read 457-78.
The figure's back was to the bars of the cage, angled so it was mostly a mound of fur. From slightly different angles, gossomer wings and blueish horns could be seen. She didn't budge.

Lucky made a patrol around the cage to not only get a better look at what was in the cage, but to also find out how to free it, either by using a console, or finding a way to take the cage out or down.

The double cage looked quite solid, running from ceiling to floor without any visible breaks There had to be a way in There was a seam in the side wall worth noting which might indicate a door, but no lock mechanism or even a handle was visible on it, and it was clearly tightly shut.
The computers in this room were off, and if operated, would be found to be password protected. There was also an electronic panel on a wall. It was at a human height. It could be a lock, but it also could be something more mundane than that.
With the noise of someone poking around the room, The stationary figure began to stir.

Lucky took note of what looked like a door and what looked like an electronic panel. He got a look at what the panel had to offer first. Maybe if he would be lucky enough, he could try to fry it with some lighting magic and get the door to open that way.

Theo panel was black sticking out from the wall about a quarter inch. It had a green light but was otherwise unadorned. the bottom 2/3rds of it looked like some kind of sensor, perhaps for a card, or for fingerprint activation.

Once Lucky saw this, he took a quick glance around the room to see if there was anything he could use in here to help him with this. If not, then it would be lightning time.

The room was somewhat cluttered, looking like someone had needed to leave abruptly, and had so, not bothered to return everything to their proper locations. A lab coat was left on one of the chairs, a pocket bulging with some unknown items or tools. the desk with the computer was also cluttered, home to a half empty now room temperature coffee, and a set of what looked like normal keys on a ring. They seemed more like house or car keys than like keys for anything in the lab, but there were several miniature cards attached to the ring.

Lucky looked at the keys and grabbed them, as well as whatever was in the lab coat pockets. Once he did that, he went over to the key thing and tried what he could.

There was no keyhole on the panel, so no way to use the ordinary keys. Testing the cards proved negative as well. On closer inspection, most seemed to be normal point-cards used grocery stores. On the back of one of the cards was a name written in permanent ink. M. Foster. whoever that might be.
As for the pocket's contents, there was a multi-tool a pair of glasses, a lone glove, and folded note which read, 'chip Expire 6-14' whatever that meant.

With these clues, Lucky went onto turn on a laptop. If it needed a password, he would try the name and a few other things on the cards to try to get in.
