Lucky used glue to put over a layer on the fingerprints, pulling the glue off when it was ready. When it was, he then pressed it firmly against the pad, hoping body heat could make it work.

The light on the pannel flashed yellow for a while, then red for a moment before turning green with a distinct beep. The door slid open. Giving shika a chance to escape to the ajacent room. This was not the same space lucky was in, but another areaof the lab. It was not empty. Human yells of surprise could be heard as shika made her way out.

Lucky saw Shika run off to another room in the lab. Using basic map knowledge, he had a good idea where it was and ran off to that door to try to open it for her, while making sure no one saw him.

The humans were temorarily chaotic, though micro sized Shika was not much of a threat. They had been working in this room with a subject from a different cell. Their reactions to this sudden invasion of space was slow shika had the chance to half run, half fly half way across the room before they were organized in a manner where they ceased to trip over eachother. Had her powers not been still partially compromized she might have attacked them with the intent to kill. Unable to do that she focused on avoiding grabing hands and readying weaponry. Lucky for her a door opened ahead thanks to lucky's quick thinking. She managed to dart through it just in time.

Lucky found her flying through the door, along with many other humans. He responded by leaving a thick fire trail at the entrance to the door, hoping to at least slow them down. Lucky then ran after Shika. "Follow me." He said. He was able to get in here, so he should be able to get them out too.

If Lucky could find his way back through this maze-like place. It would be very easy to take a wrong turn on accident here.
Shika kept her head and ran, keeping her small size as her larger one would not fit through the corridors and halls. She let Lucky Get ahead. She'd been drugged when she came in here, and definitely did not know the way out.
The fire did not keep the humans trapped long. A siren went out through the building, and more than humans, some of the robots took up pursuit. Fire would not stop them

Lucky heard the sirens and went faster, remembering where he came from because he was following his scent that he could sniff out. Not like it was cleaned out yet. If anything, he could hope for a miracle and a rift to pop up and take them out of here.

Shika dare not glance behind her lest it slow her down. This pace, following Lucky already felt slow. shika could usually go faster, As long as she let him lead, she was kind of stuck at this pace. Suddenly robots came in front of them too, blocking the way. Either the bots had a shortcut, or more likely they had been ahead to begin with and had been dispatched to trap the escapees.

Lucky soon saw the robots in front of him. He wasn't sure what to do, or if a lucky rift would come in and save them. However, he wasn't banking on that because his luck hadn't seemed to be working well so far. He saw a gap in the robots and decided to duck through there, or go into a door that had an air vent.

Considering that he'd gotten in here, found Shika, and gotten her out of the cage before causing alarm despite the high security. That was pretty lucky already. Now probably felt horribly unlucky of course with robots closing in from either side and other dangers not far behind. It was unwise to bet on rifts, as they were yet unpredictable things most likely to be found by accident. This place had so many anti-magic precautions built in that it might not even allow rifts if such things were magic based. The nature of these things had not been researched enough yet to know for sure.
The robots were wide at the base, but mostly quite small. a Cat could find some space to get through where they tapered slightly while they were not entirely in formation. Shika was even able to fit through.
the issue was in that if it happened once, it could happen again. who knew how many robots and people were ahead of them.

Lucky made it through the robots and kept on running. Once he turned a corner, he remembered the room he was at where he initially found his first computer in here. Now he was on track. He could have used the vent, but not only would Shika not fit, it would be easy to trap them in there, so he kept on running.

Being off the chemicals even for this short time, was allowing shika's powers to return. She could sense it. It made this pace feel even slower for her. She narrowed her eyes, slightly frustrated by the matter, but being slow worked out. "there's more ahead." she warned, before those foes even came in sight.

Lucky turned an ear back to Shika as she spoke. "If you know a good way out, now's the time to speak." He said to her, trying to prepare for what was ahead.

"How could I know anything when they kept me in a cage the whole time." Shika hissed, displeased that he might assume that she could know a way out. She'd never even seen most of this place. She narrowed her eyes, preparing to attack the enemies up ahead if need be. The bots were in sight now, and this time they began fireing whether they were bullets or tranquilizers shika didn't wait to find out. She stepped over Lucky, grew in size, and rammed the robots asside with her horns. Luckily they were also nearing the entrance by now. Not much further to go but it would be near impossible to get out if the humans had shutdown the lift.

Lucky saw Shika charge at the robots. He knew that the lift was getting closer, but it would be problematic if it was shut down. Not that it would be impossible to get out if that happened.
